We needed a place to sleep for a few hours - until about 3 am. We paid almost $600. That is simply outrageous. Not a great view and windows were filthy. This is an airport hotel. Come on! Pools were half full. Electrical and cooling issues in the room.

Perfect for a late arrival at YVR when you miss your connecting flight and can stay here at the last minute. Although fairly pricey, saves a lot of hassle if you need to get back to the airport for your next flight The following day

Excellent service upon check, received added attention and care for our 8 year olds birthday celebration. Our 13th floor room had a spectacular 180 degree view overlooking the runway. Fantastic hotel & staff we'll stay here again.

Love Fairmont Hotels but this hotel being in the Vancouver Airport is now my all time favourite. It’s also apparently the only Vancouver Airport Hotel so we’ll always stay here at Arrival and Departure. It is very attractive, efficient and comfortable. Staff very numerous, helpful and visible. Outstanding Housekeeping and Reception Staff. They’ve definitely earned our Loyalty. We had a very late night INTL flight home and wanted to return the Rental Car in the CBD the day before, at arrival back into Vancouver. Determined to avoid 2 separate Hotels - City and Airport - I phoned The Fairmont and asked a very patient and helpful Receptionist could they lock in a Late Checkout for the day of our flight. She assured me it’d be done. Went beyond what I was timidly hoping for. We received an email confirming. My husband went from stressed to impressed immediately. At arrival by Ferry back to Vancouver we drove straight to The Fairmont to be told our room was ready. Very Early and fantastic. Staff deposited our luggage in our room whilst we very happily returned Rental Car in the City. We taxied back to The Fairmont Airport Hotel and enjoyed the luxury and bliss of it all. The room was gorgeous with outstanding views. Quiet, comfortable and spacious. The peace and tranquility knowing the worst was behind us. We had a slow luxurious breakfast the next morning in the Restaurant - perfect Eggs Benedict. Wonderful Staff. During leisurely walks around the Concourse Retail outlets, with no pesky luggage, I found excellent gifts for Family. We returned to our room and enjoyed last minute showers, nice and close to flight time. Boarding for a long flight feeling clean and tidy is a wonderful feeling. We’ve spent 25 hours in an Airport before this, (and it was mental torture) but staying in The Fairmont Vancouver Airport was truly enjoyable.

Beautiful, luxurious room. Clean, comfortable, beautiful decor, and so convenient. Even though it’s literally part of the airport we couldn’t hear a sound. I’d stay there again and recommend it wholeheartedly. We were so tired after traveling all day and had another flight early in the morning. This hotel was such a nice oasis amongst all the stress and fatigue of travel. Don’t hesitate to stay here if you need to be at the airport early.
