Lovely Hotel
Terri D (Grimsby, Canada) on Dec 13, 2025
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Club. Very clean. Large rooms (we had a garden view suite) great food and the staff were excellent. All this in the paradise that is Barbados ??. It’s ocean front, so no beach in front of the hotel, but a quick walk through the ocean to your left puts you on to a huge sandy beach. Wear your water shoes for the walk over. The resort is not huge, which we like. Are the rooms a little dated? Maybe, but everything was completely functional in them. Good shower, lots of hot water and the A/C was excellent. All in all it was a great vacation and we would definitely stay there again should we return to Barbados.

This was our second visit to the Club and it did not disappoint. from the moment we checked in we felt at ease as the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was very good, and was always served with a smile. our room was spotless, and was maintained like this all week. there are a large amount of return guests and they make you feel part of there group very quickly. location is perfect for getting around this side of the island. thank you all for a great holiday. see you next year
A wonderful time again

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The staff are the most welcoming bunch, a few of them remembered us from our visit last year which made it extra special. Nothing is ever too much trouble! The cocktails are fantastic and there isn’t a drink they can’t make for you! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary whilst here and the hotel made it extra special, they decorated a table by the water for us for dinner - a lovely touch. The rooms are spacious, clean and a refreshing break from the heat. The hotel is located in a great spot, just a short taxi ride from top restaurants like the Lone Star and The Cliff which are a must visit! Holetown is walkable with some great shopping and bars. Sandy lane beach is beautiful and is accessible from the hotel, it’s advisable to bring your water shoes as it can be a little stoney crossing the water. The snorkelling is good by the hotel and there are plenty of water sports on offer. We enjoyed the Saturday night Karaoke and the local cuisine served in Enid’s restaurant - especially the coconut shrimp and fish cakes! The sunsets are to die for and you have the perfect view from the beach bar ???? We look forward to seeing you all again soon! Many thanks Lucy & Ben
1st time in Barbados

The review made by TMN10 on 5th Dec is absolutely spot on. A decent place let down by the bad attitude of the Restaurant staff who are doing you a massive favour by serving you. A shame because the rest of the staff, especially the reception were all very good.
Overall disappointing, but not all bad!

We were disappointed with this hotel for a number of reasons though there were pros as well as cons! It’s in a good location, walkable into Holetown, the pool areas and gardens are nice, the rooms clean and comfortable. However, our ‘loft’ room was on the 4th floor up some rickety steep stairs with no lift so I think people should be warned in advance it’s not suitable for people with any mobility issues. It did have a great sea view though! The food is pretty bland and dishes very repetitive, sad because there are some fantastic restaurants on Barbados. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. The resort is let down by the attitude of the staff, especially in the restaurant where the service is slow and often surly. By no means all staff, reception, some on the bar and some of the women servicing the rooms were lovely, but too many are quite rude. Overall the resort looks a bit ‘tired’. We booked it because the Tamarind where we have stayed before is closed for refurbishment, and because it’s next to stunning (but enormously expensive) Sandy Lane where some relatives were staying. Joining them for dinner there rather spoiled us for anywhere else!
