Rejuvenating Luxury Getaway
Dillon A on Dec 13, 2025
We booked a junior suite with the swim out pool. From the moment we arrived to our gorgeous room, the attentive staff did everything they could to make our experience exceptional. We had a blast each day deciding what fun things we’d be participating in. From biking to the marina to cooking class, pickleball and volleyball, the entertainment team (particularly: Delmer, Miguel, Axel, and Francisco) did it all. Beyond the many daytime and evening activities, we enjoyed dipping in our swim-out pool, a local boat excursion, and a wide variety of delicious food options. (El Patio was our favorite restaurant) Gazing at the breathtaking sunset on our last night, we agreed that we’ve never felt better getting to do it ALL at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos!
A Wonderful Getaway!

Room was very nice with a wonderful ocean view. Staff was amazing and always willing to assist with guest needs. Loved watching the whales return to Los Cabos on an afternoon / evening cruise. My massage and facial was great! The grounds were beautiful. Overall, a wonderful get-away.
Best to relax in the pool with a drink!

Secrets over all was a very nice and relaxing experience. We stayed there for 7 nights just me and my husband. The food was very good for an all inclusive resort! The pools were amazing and pretty warm and the drinks were top tier! I would say this resort is mainly to go relax. It’s definitely not like a huge party resort during the day. At night they have a club and some entertainment but not much during the day. Over all I would definitely recommend it for a great escape to relax or for a baby moon. The beach scenery is absolutely stunning.
Special thanks to the Entertainment Team

We had an absolutely wonderful trip. We were celebrating our honeymoon and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. We stayed in a junior suite with a swim up pool. The room was spacious and clean. The pool was perfect for those who like to relax in private, we loved the privacy while also having a place to swim. Over the course of our stay we participated in almost all of the free activities the resort had to offer. Many other guests did not, which allowed for a more intimate experience. Both bike tours are extremely fun! We went to the marina for a swim with Axel and he was a great tour guide, we went on the hike with Miguel and he supplied awesome knowledge of local floral and fauna. We also had the privilege of playing pickleball with a pro! Victor was great and Frankie was fun to beat. Finally we had a great time with Delmer at archery, his personality was so welcoming and fun! The whole team was a delight to spend time with and made a huge part of our trip fun. The location of the resort, while secluded was ideal for us. We aren’t big partiers and enjoyed being further from the humdrum. We would definitely recommend this stay for others!
Beautiful resort.

This was our 9th stay at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos. The grounds are beautiful, the workers are friendly, and the view is great. The staff did a really nice job decorating for Christmas. Our ocean front room was awesome. We were at the end of building 8 farthest away from the preferred pool. Quiet area, lovely view. We spent 4 nights there with another couple. We had a very nice time. We were there for R & R, not activity. Pools were heated and comfortable. Servers started bringing drinks at 10 am. We spent all but one day at the preferred pool. We were disappionted that there wasn't a concierge coming around greeting us and making us feel welcome. This is a change from past visits. If you read older reviews, you'll see Ceasar was very good at this, but he is no longer there. Food was mostly good. Breakfast was nearly the same every day. They only had deli ham available and not thick slices of fresh ham. So, it was bacon or sausage every day. We all loved the buffet for lunch. Plenty of options every day. Seaside grill for lunch was a nice change, too. Dinner was mixed. The Italian restaurant had a smaller menu than in past visits. While the food was good, we were disappointed that there weren't any traditional Italian items on the menu. No lasagna, bolognese, or ravioli. It had been our favorite restaurant in past visits, but not this time. The Mexican restaurant was our favorite, as we went twice. Marco, our waiter the first time was great. The food was delicious, and I was glad to see the Molcahete back on the menu after being off it for several years. The Hibachi was another disappointment. The chef was probably new. He was timid, soft spoken, and struggled with his show. The food was under-seasoned. The fried ice cream was totally melted and the tempura was doughy. The host/ server, Izzy, was outstanding. He made it fun during the time he was there. And he did a great show for dessert. Speaking of shows, we did not enjoy the Burlesque show. The sound was muffled, the video on the screen behind the performers was very bright. The show itself was not very interesting. Music in the Rendezvous bar was mostly a miss this time. On Monday, they put a keyboardist in the big room adjascent to the "Birdcage" with not enough seats to accomodate many people. His music selection suggested purely background music, not a performance. Tuesday, there was a spanish guitarist. He was much better, but again, big room, few seats. Wednesday, they had a rock band, (Black Cherry), in the birdcage room. They were outstanding. I will be looking them up my next time in Cabo. Thursday was a duet. Again, not very entertaining, just background music. What a shame, because that was our favorite place to go every night for live music during past visits. It really was disappointing. All in all we still had a nice time. We won't return though. We are just not getting the value and entertainment we used to get in past years.
