Highly recommended this resort , very nice place and nice staff , variety of restaurants and wellbeing facilities

The painting class was the best

Writing this and I’m still in the hotel for 7 more days (booked for 10 days total) 1. Checking in was very easy and good 2. Since minute 1 our room, the shower was not working properly, and the air conditioner was only available on “high” mode. We are still waiting on the shower fix (I called 2 times, and I talked personally with the reception people also 2 times). The answer was, and is a quote: “we will send someone right away”. Three days passed and I am still waiting. The air conditioner: I was told that the “high” speed is the only speed it suppose to work in, so during the night we always sleep with the huge noise from the air conditioner. 3. Asked to restock the minibar (just water and coke) 2 times during the 2 days: 0 effect, because the cleaning lady doesn’t speak English. So, I thought the word “coca cola” was the same on all the languages , but she just looked at me and said or gave me nothing. 3. Asked for hairbrush and tooth brush (included in the service but it wasn’t in the room) - zero effect also. Had to come to reception to get the toothbrush myself after 2 days, because nobody cares (again). 4. TV quality is so poor - you can not expect people to actually be able to watch anything (even in Spanish). It just all in very very very bad quality. 5. Food quality is good but the evening and morning and all the restaurants don’t have air conditioners, so just be prepared for the heat. 6. Gym temperature is very very cold, but (!!!) they won’t let you in unless you are wearing sneakers…. And I didn’t think I would need sneakers to go in into the gym, when I need to do arms and my back …..and I don’t bring sneakers in general with me… Holly why man, that gym thing was the final drop, and we are on day 3 of our 10 days stay… freaking insane. This is my second time in MELIÁ by the way, I will not come back never again.

Beautiful surroundings brilliant weather spoiled by dirty pool very substandard food this could be such a lovely resort but needs to sort out the filtering system on the main pool also very slippery when getting out no signs e.g slippery when wet etc the food is well below 5 star rating I’d make it 2_3star personally. Would I return no would I recommend it yes with provisos Jamaica is far superior

The hotel is beautiful! The service is really nice, I enjoyed the activities, the atmosphere, the pools and the night shows.
