Hidden Gem Near Times Square
CarolinaBlonde (Bentonville, Virginia) on Mar 28, 2026
This is a great hotel right off Times Square. It is conveniently located near theaters, restaurants, and a short walk to museums and Central Park. The hotel has some amazing amenities. The city walking tours are outstanding. They are free and only 1.5 hours. It is a wonderful way to explore different neighborhoods and learn the history. Breakfast vouchers are included for hotel restaurants or Carve down the street. They also have wine hours with music 3 nights a week. There are 2 good restaurants and the Rum Bar with jazz music. The rates are reasonable, and the rooms nice and quiet . I highly recommend Hotel Edison!
A Magical Stay at the Iconic Hotel Edison - Thank you Fehat and Justina
Safari812956 on Mar 28, 2026
We never imagined staying anywhere near Times Square could feel like anything other than pure chaos. But from the moment we arrived at the 100-year-old Hotel Edison, that assumption disappeared. The very first face we saw was Fehat, the bellman, whose affability and old-world graciousness instantly set the tone. In the middle of the nonstop crowds, he somehow made us feel like we were the only guests in the lobby, welcomed, seen, and genuinely cared for. His warmth alone could restore anyone’s faith in hospitality. At the front desk, Justina greeted us with the same level of patience and kindness. Surrounded by the exhilarating energy of this living, historic hotel, we were a little overwhelmed in the best way and she guided us through check-in with a calm, friendly presence. When she handed us the key card, it truly felt like receiving Willy Wonka’s golden ticket, a doorway into an experience people dream about when they picture staying in New York City. In a world that can feel cynical, both Fehat and Justina invited us into something joyful and authentic. A memory that will never fade. They made us feel like we had arrived not just at a hotel, but at a piece of New York history brought to life by people who genuinely love what they do. Thank you, Hotel Edison, for supporting Fehat, Justina and all the other incredible staff, and for reminding us what great service feels like. Our faith in the hospitality industry has officially been restored. Cheers!
