Had wonderful relaxing nine days. Respect at the Italian restaurant . Our waiter Angel Guillermo and Gilberto La Luce were awesome and the food, especially the spaghetti pomadora was amazing. The staff at the resort were so friendly and saw to our every needs. Will be back!

Nice relaxing stay, great food and entertainment

Cory T on May 25, 2024

Our family of 4, with kids aged 4 and 8 had a fantastic week long holiday at the Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort. After a 35 minute ride from the Puerto Vallarta airport, we arrived and were greeted in the huge and airy open lobby. Check in went smoothly and our bell hop showed us to our room, explaining many features of the resort along the way. Our room was on the 5th floor in the North tower and had a beautiful unimpeded ocean view. We had 2 queen beds, and the room was clean, spacious, and modern. The mini bar (complementary) was well stocked with 3 different beers, 4 sodas, water, and juice. The wifi was fast and worked well throughout the resort. The beach had lots of loungers and umbrellas available and had a nice calm swimmable area protected from the ocean. There are 2 large infinity pools, one for families and one adults only as well as a hot tub that was not very warm in the morning and was often used by tots. The beach and pools were shaded by the building in the morning (perfect temperature at this time of year) and in the full sun by about noon. Food was great overall at the resort. The web app made it seamless to book our restaurants for dinner the next day. We enjoyed the ceviche, octopus tiradito, and fish tacos at Cocomar so much that we had lunch there 3 times. The mushroom risotto, lasagna, and salmon were standouts at La Luce. The beef tongue, catch of the day, and beef filet were our favorites at Maxal. The steak and octopus were great at Seasalt, but we didn't care too much for the starters. We didn't care too much for the Asian food at Sunan, the menu might've been a bit too ambitious in diversity, and none of the dishes tasted very authentic. The buffets had a nice variety, although sometimes it felt like a rehash of some of the restaurant meals. The breakfast buffet was a bit repetitive, although it featured Menudo one day which was delicious and we wish it was a staple. The anytime room service was nice to have and breakfast was punctual. Alcohol was always readily available but the mixed drinks tasted quite watered down. The entertainment program at the resort was top notch, with various activities, fitness classes, and crafts throughout the day, nightly shows (the aqua light show, prehispanic fire show, and latino show were our favorites), followed by live music in the lobby and the silent discos which were an unexpected hit with the kids. The kids club was also an unexpected hit with our kids, it made for a nice air conditioned refuge in the middle of the day, and allowed for us to have some nice adult time. When we picked up the kids, they would have nice crafts that they made or beautiful face paint. The web app made it super easy to always know what activities were happening that day and where. Getting into town for a bit of sightseeing and shopping was super easy. We didn't want to fuss with car seats for our 2 young kids in a taxi or Uber, so we hopped on the bus, which conveniently stops right in front of the resort (conference center side to get to town), and cost only 10 pesos per adult. Lastly, the staff here were wonderful. Alan got to know us by name from the daily activities and was a fantastic hype man for the evening shows. Saul and Bianca were also great hosts for the activities. Sergio at La Luce was incredibly welcoming, and Ricardo provided us with wonderful service at the Vela food hall. Restaurant drinks were often replenished before we even asked, and poolside drinks never went empty for long with servers checking up often and returning quickly with the orders.

Best server ever!

Stayed at Hilton Vallarta Riviera. The best person was Luis Acevedo! Oh my goodness! He was amazing! So kind. He was at the Vela restaurant. My special needs granddaughter was with me for dinner. I asked if there was chicken nuggets and there was none that evening but Luis went to another restaurant and got her chicken nuggets! We felt so very special! A wonderful person!

Superior resort with excellent service nad food

ketkis2022 on May 24, 2024

We stayed 5 nights. Superior facility with excellent restaurants and bars. Quality of food, service and shows were one of the best we have experienced. Staff is very helpful and very well trained. They never refused for any special request we had. Sunan Asian chef Sergio and server Jose Basurto were exceptionally helpful. We had three dinners th4ere out of five nights. Fire show and Latino shows were so good, you have to pay $70-70 per show outside. Do not miss them. Yale restaurant serves variety of Buffett food and there is so much choice for everyone. Many bars . Do visit the Sky bar and mojito bar. Free Kayak was a special plus. Commendable staff and credit to the management team. Would definitely visit again.
