We had a great 1-week stay at Hotel Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort in Bonaire. The team was friendly and supportive, all areas clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The beach was super for snorkeling and swimming.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire! From the warm and professional welcome at the front desk to the spotless, comfortable room, everything was top notch. The restaurants served delicious meals with attentive service, the pool and beach areas were clean and inviting, and the Scuba Do dive center delivered an excellent diving experience with great staff and equipment. The car rental service was convenient and straightforward, and the hotel Wi Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay. Just a small note about parking, otherwise human nature is a little spoiled and I would not change a thing. I hope to be back soon. Mark Perigault Monte 1204

This was our second year at Bonaire and Chogogo. This year was not the same as the year previous. From dives being sold out, to incredibly poor service and not showing World Cup games, it has been nothing short of a disappointment. For $2500, I expect more and we received more a year ago. The service was absolutely terrible this time. The menu hasn’t changed one bit in a year. The reception staff has been amazing, but that’s it. Highly disappointed in the fact that not all World Cup games are being shown. When you sit down for a drink or food, I expect service. I don’t want to wait 30 minutes to be greeted and asked for drinks. Zero follow through with orders and drink refills. We will be talking to management to see what can be done about this stay. Absolutely not worth the price we paid for the week here. Beyond disappointed. We won’t be back. We booked this trip to stay here because we loved it so much last year and it was so fantastic. Not again.

We ate in the beach side bar for the music. We ordered the catch of the day, (way undercooked so sent it back, amberjack was delicious after more cooking), chicken Caesar salad, (tasteless dressing, made with lettuce & arugula, bacon, a hard boiled egg), and a spicy calzone, not a single spicy ingredient, also presented like a pizza. It had some pepperoni, green olives, & very little cheese. A very poor pizza as it was. I’ve had the chicken Caesar before, and it was a classic Caesar in presentation. Arugula in a Caesar?? Hard boiled egg?? The kitchen staff needs a major change! Proper training preparation of standard meals. The taste and presentation was underwhelming. We waited almost 90 minutes to get our food. The young waiter was very pleasant and polite. I like Chogogo beach bar, and I will return for drinks, but not for dinner. I’ve eaten at the beach bar probably 6-8 times before. Nice staff, food is average.

Great place, quiet and relaxing. Lots of beach facilities. Great snorkeling right off beach. Comfortable and quiet rooms, kitchen in room very convenient.
