Spent 3 nights here at the end of a Canada roadtrip, thoroughly impressed. Great staff, really well appointed hotel. Our king-size room has a full fireplace (!- I think all do tho!) with fire starter, matches, wood, fantastic, and rest of room excellent too! Jacuzzi and gym both awesome. The reception also provided two complementary bus passes for our stay, valid on all local services, which was massively useful. We ate in the restaurant two nights, again really very good. Great drinks options, and great food. Staff excellent, especially Arbner who was especially helpful and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again, awesome.

We stayed for one night and had mixed feelings about our experience. The reception area was beautiful, modern, and very welcoming, which gave us high expectations for the rest of the property. Unfortunately, the room itself felt quite dilapidated and outdated. It seemed as though the aim was a rustic style, but instead the furniture looked worn and somewhat dirty rather than charming. There were noticeable marks on both the carpet and furnishings, which made the room feel tired and in need of refurbishment. The bed and pillows were also quite uncomfortable, resulting in a poor night's sleep. The room has great potential, but it would benefit greatly from modernization and updating. That said, there were some lovely features. The real fireplace was a fantastic addition and really added character to the room. We also enjoyed the beautiful roll-top bath, which was a highlight. The TV could do with an update and would be better mounted on the wall, as its placement inside the wardrobe felt awkward. The absolute highlight of our stay was having an elk wander right up to our door – a memorable and unique experience that we loved.

Last minute decision to find accommodation in Banff. Found Buffalo Mountain Lodge and were very impressed with everything. Exceptional accommodation. Attention to details was excellent. Even though we didn't use any of the facilities, they looked great and the staff were a delight to deal with.

Lovely location. Very good restaurant with good quality food for a very reasonable price. Excellent service. Rooms tired in places and not cleaned thoroughly. Staff did not respond to complaint and request for room to be cleaned.
