We celebrated our anniversary at Buffalo Mountain Lodge and had an amazing experience. The upgrade and thoughtful touches made our stay feel so special. Charlie, who checked us in and out, was incredibly warm and kind — she truly made a difference. Dinner was fantastic, and the highlight was discovering our room faced Mount Rundle, the same view we had when we got married. Such a meaningful coincidence! We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Highly recommend for a memorable, cozy getaway.

We stayed at Buffalo Mountain Lodge for our first night in Canada after landing in Calgary and driving up to Banff. After checking in, we drove over to our room — the property is nicely spread out, but there’s convenient parking close to each building, which made everything super easy. What we didn’t expect was just how luxurious our room would be. We chose Buffalo Mountain Lodge because it’s only a short drive from Downtown Banff, they offer a shuttle service, and the rate was surprisingly reasonable — a rare find in August when prices in Banff soar during peak season. The room itself was spacious, featuring a personal fireplace with everything provided to get a cozy fire going. The bed was huge, the bathroom had all the modern amenities, and the added bonus was a balcony overlooking peaceful woodland — the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee with fresh mountain air and the chance to spot wildlife. We honestly couldn’t recommend it enough!

I would highly recommend a stay at Buffalo Mountain Lodge. The accommodations we stunning and it's easy to bus into Banff.

We had an amazing experience, they offered us an upgrade to the room, which it was very much appreciated. It was quite, the fireplace was great, we got to enjoy a peaceful day staying by the fire and looking at the amazing view towards the forest and the mountains.

Great location very clean , great staff, rooms are very nice they have a fireplace which is awesome in the cooler weather.
