Spent a couple of nights at Buffalo Mountain Lodge. Absolutely loved our stay. Short walk back into the centre of Banff however, felt like you were really nestled in the forest with cute deer roaming the grounds. Very peaceful and relaxing, friendly and attentive staff - highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay at Buffalo Mountain Lodge. Clean, good size rooms and good restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful views from our upstairs room. Bus stop close to entrance for easy trips into Banff.

Overpriced for the type of rooms, rooms have unpleasant smells,. The hotel desperately needs upgrades. Water temperature in sinks and showers are very sensitive to small twists of the knobs. Food at the restaurant was decent.

Great stay here! We had a lovely room which was spacious, modern and cosy, with a lodge-style feel that gave it a really nice sense of quality. The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite throughout our stay. The only downside was the location, as it’s a bit of a walk from Banff’s main high street, and the buses were often very busy. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The lodge is in a perfect location up on Tunnel Mountain with Banff Town easily accessible by car, bus, bike or even walking. The rooms are very cozy with comfortable bedding, great bathrooms and small wood burning fireplaces. Great place to stay during summer and winter seasons - 10m from the highway and close to pretty much everything. The Prow serves a really nice breakfast and the staff are all very friendly. Coffee is made fresh in a chalet style open dining area with a bar and lounge. Warm vibes. Watch for deer in the area and slow down on the roads :) I highly recommend Buffalo MTN Lodge to couples and outdoorsy types looking for a quieter spot to relax after a busy day.
