I am so lucky to be able to say this was my second stay at this beautiful property. Althoough it is out of the downtown Banff district, the hotel offers you free ROAM bus passes to easily go in and out of town and the walk in is so picturesque. From entering through the revolving doors as you pass the beautiful castle in the sky exterior, it is honestly 10/10 service. Check in were so friendly and welcoming. We were exceptionally lucky to be staying in a suite, but our last stay in a room was just as amazing. The whole stay is one you keep wanting to pinch yourself. The whole property is maintained and kept pristinely and clean. We didn't hear any outside or other room noise from our room. As far as value, it is a splurge hotel, but really worth while splurge. We really love that at the property you have dining from high end all the way down to take away and it is all very tasty. I have a dairy allergy that was very well catered for. Out of all the Alberta and British Columbia Fairmonts, this property has the best inclusive activities to get bang for your resort fee. The rec staff are honestly world class with Ewan topping the team. He was here our last trip and is still as down to earth and approachable while offering such amazing knowledge of the history of the property. What I really love about this property is that as a guest you can honestly just roam around and explore areas that seem like in other properties would be out of bounds. I love being able to take a peak from above at weddings and see the amazing effort that is put in for the events. We love exploring around the property and being able to look back at the beautiful castle nestled in the trees. My biggest advice- splurge- spend the money that you think is too much. You will totally think it was worth the expense at the end of your stay. I would be remiss in not mentioning the amazing VIP team and especially Angela who looked after us like royalty but spoke and related to us like we were family. So attentve, so in tune with us. WORLD CLASS!
Great hiking experience.

We are staying at the Fairmont right now. Wonderful stay so far. We especially loved our guided hike experience with Gina. Truly amazing guide; knowledgeable, personable and fun. Perfect balance of scenery and exercise. Plus a nice packed lunch at the Tea House. A genuinely memorable day.

The hotel is so beautiful and the views are amazing! High on a mountain overlooking Bow River. The service was excellent, we did have the gold which gave us our own concierge, entrance and lounge area. They served breakfast in the morning, hors d’oeuvres in the afternoon (around 4 and dessert at night around 7. They also had juices and drinks during the day. The bar was cash, although it was a discounted price from the prices in the Rundle bar. The room was clean and very nice with a Nespresso and kettle. The room had glasses, robes and slippers as well as a safe and other amenities. The bathroom was very tiny but again clean and well stocked. Our room was directly across from a staff area but we never heard a sound. The hotel’s products had a wonderful smell. We had some delicious chocolates upon arrival and later the huge cookie in the room. We walked all through the hotel and grounds and it was beautiful. There was a “secret garden and a hidden room in the Rundle bar. Our view from our window made the whole thing worth it, while having coffee at our window in the morning we saw a herd of elk walking across the golf course.

Journeying through Alberta with a Tour Group you take what is given to you when you arrive at your accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised to have been given a suite at Fairmont Banff Springs. The room was gorgeous with a sitting room, a huge bedroom and stunning bathroom. The staff were very helpful, and quick to respond to our questions and requests. They were all very courteous and were only too happy to assist with a warm smile. We had breakfast at Vermillion each morning and couldn’t get near to trying all the options. The breakfast buffet catered for all tastes - Asian, English, American, etc. would recommend staying a few nights at the Fairmont
Impressive hotel to say the least

Fantastic location with fantastic views. We paid for an upgraded Mountain View room but the first room we were allocated was very disappointing, it was very small with very little view. I did complain and we were moved to a much better located room which was also, larger and which met all of our expectations for which is an expensive hotel,in the first place. The hotel was very busy, lots going on and staff were all very helpful
