A Great Stay At a Great Hotel

mrscordial (Edmonton, Canada) on Oct 31, 2025

The staff were most helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed. The bed was ultra-comfy; and I slept extremely well. Complimentary parking was a big plus, removing much stress. Breakfast at the Yellow Door Bistro was quite enjoyable. Rates were reasonable. No complaints, only praise. Thank you@

this is a lovely clean and modern hotel. quiet over all. had to pay for water which is a bit dissapointing. But overall a very good place to stay, would go back.

Don't stay here

kenrayner2025 on Oct 24, 2025

Terrible accommodations. By far the smallest room I have ever stayed in and there was no offer to switch rooms.

Needs an update… but overall acceptable stay.

Room beds need updating. Tattered and ripped sides on my bed. Wasn’t impressed there. Bathrooms need updates to include walk in showers. Tub Shower felt very low end.

Beware of extra charges

scotty17 (middle england) on Oct 22, 2025

Arrived late afternoon (after 4pm) to be told room wasn't ready for about another 15mins. 25 minutes later room still wasn't ready so they offered us a larger room which we accepted. I guess there was a problem with the original room which they didn't want to tell us about. The replacement room was spacious with nice decor but also needed some refurbishment, especially the swivel chair and furniture next to the fridge. Nice to have a balcony, but there are no chairs to sit outside. The pool area was very busy and a time slot had to be booked. There was no space for swimming due to the number of people standing in the pool. Breakfast was a disappointment with limited menu choices (no buffet midweek). The location is good and within walking distance to downtown. Plenty available car parking spaces. The biggest annoyance was at checkout. Do you always check your invoice? Our prepaid package included parking and breakfast. But we were being charged extra for part of a breakfast and gratuities. Apparently there is a limit on breakfast cost but nowhere in my booking is this stated. Also, we left cash gratuities but they tried to charge our card for them. Sad to see Canada going the way of USA regarding automatic gratuities. After some discussion the extra charges were rightly cancelled. But remember to check that invoice!
