Loud downtown location with nice features

The hotel itself is excellent, but future guests should be aware of the downtown noise levels. Even from a high-floor room, you can clearly hear street noise, the C-Train, and live music/activity coming from 8th Ave. I’m writing this review at 1 AM on a Wednesday, and it’s still quite noticeable to keep me awake. This isn’t really the hotel’s fault, but it’s something light sleepers should absolutely know before booking. That said, there were some standout positives: Shower water pressure: 10/10 Comfortable bed and pillows Pool facilities included a hot tub, and a rare hotel feature: a steam room (personally my favourite part) If quiet sleep is a priority, remember earplugs or this might not be the place for you.

I had a flawless stay at this hotel. I loved the spaciousness and thoughtful design of the room. Everything felt new and spotless. Amenities were great, too. It was an excellent place to stay for a nearby conference. It was also well located in downtown Calgary.

Great location, great service at a Calgary landmark. We loved the bartender at Thompsons, the pool and steam room! We really enjoyed the easy access to Stephen ave and the local scene

we've stayed at this location in downtown Calgary and we have never been disappointed. Staff is great and the rooms are excellent
