We enjoyed the food at Las Velas! The staffs are all friendly and nice. Special shoutout to Justo, Balang. The food are superb specially the seafood plate. Justo, is very generous to give us free foods. I highly recommend this restaurant with good view.
Worst ever hotel experience!

I gave Hotel Krystal Cancún one star, because there has to be a star. This place gave me and my family the worst ever hotel experience, and ruined our vocation. We spent half a day traveling from USA to Cancún with two little kids and two seniors. We booked two nights of two Ocean View rooms one month ago, but was told they only have one night for us. They said it was because we have not paid in full, but there was not any message or email to let us pay in full beforehand. I am just very confused does the hotel confirmation letter mean nothing??? The clerk and the manager were ignorant and rude. They offered us a $850 USD room option in a nearby hotel, but we refused. They oversold their rooms and let customers to pay for the price. That’s ridiculous! The one-night experience in this hotel is terrible. 1.We spent more than one hour arguing for our rooms, with hungry and tired babies and seniors waiting on the side, but failed. 2.After checking in, we were told all restaurants were fully booked, expect for the buffet. There are very limited amount of foods in the buffet restaurant, and most foods are cheap and sketchy. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, you pretty much have the same foods. 3.Facilities in this hotel are in bad conditions, including beach chairs, beds, lights, air conditioner and bathing areas… There is a strong musty smell in the hallway and inside the room. 4.Room service is awful. Our babies were crying for milk early in the morning, and we called the room serive to try to find some hot water at 6:40 am. They told us that they had not started to work yet, and we had to wait until 7:00 am. We asked if we could go to pick up some hot water ourselves, but they refused. We asked them what should we do with the hungry and crying babies, they said “Just wait!”. 5.The one-night stay was never relaxing, because we will have to find another place to stay for the second day and consider how we should move with kids, seniors and all our luggage. 6.Our overall feeling in this hotel is that everyone is trying to make money from you and greedy for your tips, but nobody reallly wants to help you. We spent over $1,000 for the worst ever vocation experience. INSANE! This is the second time we traveled to Cancún, and will be the last time. We were extorted for $3,000 MXN by police officers on the road during our first visit, and had a terrible experience from Hotel Krystal Cancún, a so-call all-inclusive hotel, during our second visit. The ocean here is fabulous, but we will never come back again! There are a lot more better places in the world.
