Nice resort. Excellent food. Large resort with lots to do, but doesn’t feel crowded at all. Ruben with the POP team was awesome- brought lots of energy and enthusiasm to all the activities each day. He took me and my family paddle boarding on the resorts canal and it was a blast.

DO NOT waste your money here—Unfriendly staff, fake restaurant bookings, and definitely not up to par Loft suite My family has travelled extensively over the years, including multiple trips to Cancun, Mexico. I am writing this review to let people know that this property is definitely not a 5-star resort—and you should absolutely not waste your money on having a wedding here. Last week, we attended a family member’s wedding with over 50 people in attendance. It was a very expensive event, but the service we received at this resort was completely unacceptable. If there was a competition for the most unfriendly, unhelpful staff, Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres would be the winner. The primary issues we encountered included: We paid extra to book the more expensive two-storey Loft suite, but the service was not great and it was poorly maintained. For example, we were never given the right number of towels, and face cloths were routinely missing. On our first day, one of the robes provided was completely soiled. Furthermore, the suite has two refrigerators, but they only ever stocked one—the other remained completely empty. To boot, they only ever gave us one tiny package of potato chips everyday for the entire stay. Most of the resort staff have terrible attitudes and are incredibly unhelpful. They routinely roll their eyes or huff their shoulders if you ask a simple question. When trying to make restaurant reservations a few days ahead of time, the front desk claimed they had no availability. Out of options, we showed up without a reservation anyway. After dealing with eye rolls and rejections, we waited around and usually got seated. The shocking part was that despite being told they were "booked up," there were many empty tables the entire time we ate. We did find two people that did their job well. Elizabeth, who was the lady at the desk at the Mexican restaurant and she also seated us. Also Gil, who was our server at the Mexican restaurant and then again at the Italian restaurant. He was friendly and helped us to choose menu items. When our drink glasses were empty, he was at our table asking if we would like another drink. The bartender who was standing in the water at the main swim-up pool was always miserable unless you explicitly handed him a tip. Across from the same pool, the guy making the burgers was even grumpier. Every single time we walked out of the main buffet, we were accosted by sales people trying to sell timeshares, which was really annoying. I am not sure exactly what is going on with the management at this resort, but the severe lack of hospitality completely ruined what should have been a celebratory family wedding. Save your money and book a true 5-star experience elsewhere.

Family vacation was awesome. We are a family of 8 and enjoyed it for the entire family! Food and service was great, the kids were taken care of enjoyed it! We will be back!

While the property is nice, service is poor. The butler service is horrible. We nearly missed the wedding and they lost some of our clothes due to their lack of concern for guests wellbeing.

The dancers and the night show are amazing. We had a great time!
