Great resort but Pedro made it exceptional

The resort was wonderful. However, as always, the people who work at the resort make the experience. Our time at the pool was were we spent the majority of every day. There we were taken care of by Pedro Kinil. As we travel frequently i can say without exception that Pedro was one of the kindest, most concerned, and helpful person we have ever encountered at a hotel or resort. He truly made us feel like he cared about us having everything to make our vacation wonderful. He succeeded in his efforts. We felt pampered and cared for. Kudos to Hilton fir having such wonderful staff and especially for having a fabulous team member in Pedro.

First of all don’t listen to all the other reviews this place was fantastic . Here for our anniversary and had the best time . Will definitely be back and specifically for Pedro I can’t sing enough praises . He needs a raise he deserves 1 million gold stars if I could give it . He’s service made our entire trip incredible . Find him at the pool and I promise you will have the best time . He is the definition of 5 star and what I look for . We work in the travel and service industry and it’s what I am the hardest critic on and he blew some other high end hotels out of the water and what I expect when I stay at luxury hotels and I found it here at the Hilton . The food was great , huge variety. The rooms are huge . And the savor de Mexico show was really incredible and a huge highlight for us . When I first read reviews I was nervous and I thought I was staying at a completely different hotel because I have nothing but positive words . Are there things to improve on sure and if I wanted to be nit pick sure . Like if your sharing a room with others yes the bathroom Area is see through for us not a problem actually the opposite my husband loved it . If your looking for beach not the hotel for you there isn’t a lot of sand area but again not a problem I could still walk and see the gorgeous water . Is it secluded and away from everything yes but that’s what we wanted . To not leave the resort and have high security knowing that we would be safe . I think a lot is on perspective and how you view life and it’s what you make it . Look for the good and the positive and you will have a great time .
Not a 5 star hotel, far better options in Cancun

Spent 2 weeks at the Hilton All -inclusive Cancun over Christmas 2025. We were encouraged to upgrade to a sea view room on arrival, which we paid a further £560 for & were so glad we did. We had room 7060 on the top floor, it had a wrap round balcony and kept the sun until it set behind the hotel, all other balconies were in shade. The hotel position is such that even the swimming pools lose the sun by around 3:30. The beach is almost non existent and there were large plant machinery up and down most days, placing large rocks to combat the sea erosion. As there was no sun beds on the beach, all hotel guests had to use the sun beds around the swimming pools. There are 3 pools, a children’s pool, an activity pool and a chill pool. To get a sun bed you had to be up and out by 7am at the latest. People were reserving sun beds by just placing a flip flop or hat on the beds. Many days involved a dispute and staff removing items for disgruntled guests. Beds were squashed in, it wasn’t a pleasant experience. There wasn’t enough beds for all guests. The cabanas each had a further 2 sun beds attached and required further payment. On a positive the towels were great quality and plentiful, although some people took far too many and then just left them lying around. All the bookable restaurants, Italian, steak and Mexican, were great, food excellent and plenty of choice, although the buffet restaurant was very poor, very small considering the size of the hotel. Also the aircon in all the restaurants was far too cold, we chose to sit outside as much as possible. All in all, i wouldn’t class this as a 5 star hotel, there are much better options

The pool service with Pedro was phenomenal. He was attentive, kind, anticipatory, and overall a joy to have as our server.
