Lovely resort

We really enjoyed this resort. We had an ocean view king room which was big and very nice, overlooking the adults only serenity pool. The best parts of the resort for us were the very good snorkeling on the house reef right out from their beach and the adult serenity pool with its lap swimming lanes and infinity edge overlooking the beach. Cool pool design. Of course, like all resorts, you deal with the people who throw their stuff on chairs early in the morning and then disappear for many hours, but we always found somewhere to sit. We ate several meals and enjoyed some of the food at the Salty Iguana during the day (either sitting in the restaurant or delivered to our lounger) and the food at the main bar in the evening (Toyko Ceasar Salad is great). Less impressed with JFK steakhouse, but it's a beach trip - we weren't there for the food. In fact, we mostly had snacks and bagels from the Papiamentu market and everything there was good. Also, you can easily walk to De Visserij for some very fresh and much less expensive seafood in a casual atmosphere. Don't miss the guided snorkeling on Tuesday morning on the house reef. Luba swam down and pointed out all kinds of sea life - so fun. You can also walk to the center of Willemstad along the coast. It's about 2 miles each way. Wear sunscreen.
Vacation at Marriott Beach Club Curacao was Absolutely Fantastic

Our 6-night stay in mid-March 2026 was absolutely fantastic from check-in to check-out. The staff was attentive and the hotel was beautiful. As Marriott Bonvoy members, we made a great decision in joining the Reef Club because the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and the "happy hour" from 5-7 p.m. had good finger food options with an open bar and cold beer and beverages. Most importantly, my wife has Celiac Disease (autoimmune response to gluten) and the regular Reef Club staff provided gluten free bread, pastries, etc., for her. Snorkeling the outside of the coral reef right off the hotel beach was incredible as I saw trumpetfish, a large pufferfish, barracuda, filefish, parrotfish, and schools of coral tropical fish. We did swim with the turtles at Daaibooi Beach - we rented a car and drove to various beaches and Willemstad. I don't know how our vacation could have been any better.
