Better options somewhere else.

Food is mediocre, beds are good rooms are cold. Timo at the front desk needs to not work at the front desk. Terrible attitude to be front facing. Beach is dirty and small. The nice thing is good beaches are only 16 minutes away.

Not a Curio…Stay ANYWHERE else!

diamondrae3 on Apr 15, 2026

This is NOT what I expected when booking a Curio Collection Hilton. This is not a boutique hotel, and the food isn’t even close to have Michelin star chefs, let alone any chefs, just staff who know how to crack eggs or heat up pre-made dishes. Those two qualities alone are what makes a Curio Collection property differ from the standard Hilton Hotel. This property seems to have been a local property (The Corendon) and Hilton bought it and threw their name on it, without any updates or changes. The service is extremely passive, from everyone. Everyone in my group (4 rooms) were gold or diamond with Hilton and that didn’t matter at all. We weren’t recognized when checking in, weren’t given the welcome gift, and was even scolded for trying to check in thru the Hilton Diamond line at the front desk. The rooms are a great size (positive) however there’s nothing in them other than your bed and a small armoire. There’s no desk, chairs, decor even. Everyone in my group requested swim out rooms, but beware : you may still have a parking lot on the other side of the pool that looks directly into your pool and room. Or you may think you’re getting lucky with a corner swim out room. No, you’re actually only getting a corner of the pool because it doesn’t extend all the way to the end of the rooms. The food is not good at all. As others have stated, it’s repetitive. No themed nights to break up the days, traditional local dishes, or anything. Very much catered to the standard European palette. And the times for the meals are extremely inconvenient. Breakfast is from 7-10am, lunch from 1230-230pm and dinner doesn’t start until 7pm and goes until 930pm. Supposedly there was a snack bar restaurant with burgers and fries but 1 we never found it and 2 I didn’t come to Curaçao for burgers and fries. There is also room service 24/7, however we tried to place an order for two of the rooms in our group and it never came. So we just went to be hungry. The pool : kid infested. And extremely deep, almost 5.5 feet, so if you’re not a swimmer or just want to stand around and have a conversation, not possible. There are stairs that you can sit on for this, but then you’re in the way of people getting into and out of the water, and the kids as well. Also, there’s no poolside service. So there were tons of chairs with used towels, drinks, trash, etc because no one will clean it up until the end of the day when the pool closes. So when we saw what we assumed were empty seats, we had to move the dirty towels and cups to another table/chair and make ourselves comfortable. If you want drinks at the pools you need to go to the bar behind the pool and order them yourself. THERE’S NO SWIM UP BAR ?? and we went to order a drink from there and asked for club soda as the mixer and was told “you have club soda in your mini fridge in your room”. Yet we weren’t going to the room or taking the drinks to go at all. But we still had to go get our own mixers. Also, this is not an adults only property. There are kids EVERYWHERE!!! That was disappointing to my group because we purposely travel without kids, so to come and see them here was a tragedy. When you check in, you’ll get a colored wristband (not sure what the colors represent) but I don’t even believe the wristbands are necessary. I would think it was to signify who’s an actual guest on property and to ensure non-guests weren’t using the amenities or at the all inclusive bars/restaurants, but no one checked. There were about the same amount of people without wristbands as with. That was frustrating to see, because again, you’re now taking up amenities that I’ve paid for. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. The location is the best thing it has going because you can walk to other restaurants off property to get an actual good meal. If you’re looking for a hotel, I’d say look elsewhere and forego your points for a few nights. Trust me, you won’t miss them.

From a Special Birthday to a Disappointing Stay

Climber10689143631 (Belo Horizonte, MG) on Apr 13, 2026

Guest Name: Flaviane Silva de Oliveira Amaral Check-in: April 11 Check-out: April 14 Room: 2127 I would like to report another very disappointing aspect of our stay. When there is about 30 minutes left before the end of breakfast, lunch, or dinner, food is simply no longer replenished. If items run out, they are not replaced. This means that if you arrive within the last half hour, a significant portion of the available food is already gone, which is unacceptable for an all-inclusive resort. Today, we went to the themed seafood restaurant expecting to have a proper dining experience, specifically to eat codfish. However, there was no codfish available at all. Additionally, the starter was not something we could choose — it was simply what was available, with no flexibility or menu options. It was very clear that not only us, but several other guests around us were visibly disappointed with the situation. To make matters worse, there is a constant sense of rush in the restaurant. Everything feels hurried, as if guests are being pushed to eat quickly and leave. The experience was not enjoyable, relaxing, or aligned with what is expected from a themed restaurant in a resort of this level. Overall, this created a frustrating and disappointing dining experience.
