NOT AN ADULTS ONLY!! ITS AN ADVERTISING SCAM !!! Nice resort for family's, but if your into kids screaming and slamming doors in the hallways and kids screaming at dinner or on the beach this resort is for you.. it got a 3 star because the food is amazing, service ok, grounds not kept up like other resorts..but if you don't have kids with you stay away very far away, you can probably hear the screams from the resort on the opposite side if the island..

Hello. The Rif is a chill resort, buffet food is great. The Turkish à la carte was great. Just an fyi it is not adults only, they book young families with small children to babies on this side and they are at the pool and beach which they advertise as “adult only”. So if you’re looking for peace and quiet from crying kids and slamming doors this is not the place. Otherwise is is a lovely Family resort.

Booked as a couples trip via Delta vacations, and would probably not say here again especially at the price. Stayed 3 nights here in January 2026. We are experienced travelers, probably about our fifth or sixth all-inclusive, and take 3-4 international trips per year. The Bad: Paying extra for an ocean view room is a joke, we could see a tiny sliver (estimate it's about 10% of the field of view from the balcony) and the rest was almost perpetually entirely blocked by a different cruise ship each morning through bedtime. A la carte restaurants all required reservation, done the day before via app, that does not help for the evening you arrive (i.e. expect to eat at the buffet). Service at the restaurants and bars is simply lackluster - slow, generally not friendly, and not very responsive to requests. Drinks were very sugary and dilute despite requests. The Better: The Turkish restaurant was very good, and the buffet generally had nice variety and reasonable choices. The pool generally had ample seating at all times we went. The rooms and facility itself were better than average. Adequate gym.

I was nervous because of all the poor reviews. The Rif was clean and our room was nice. We had an ocean view, yes there were cruise ships coming in and out, but I found that interesting. The food is ok. Convenient for breakfast. I got on the app in the morning and was able to book restaurants if we wanted. It is close to town. You can use your room key to walk through Mondi beach club next door so you don't have to walk on the street. Evening entertainment was ok. The fire show is worth seeing. We did use the water slides, lines weren't long. One morning they did run out of towels and the buffet can get chaotic. We rented a car to drive out to the beaches and I would recommend that if you want good snorkeling. Otherwise the beach at Mangrove is beautiful. Most employees were helpful and pleasant. The one exception was the Coral pool bar. The beach bar is a short walk from the pool and they workers there were great!
