We have a great time. What made our trip special was the customer service we received from Jayner!

First and foremost guys, please tip the staff.When the staff was good, they were really good! When the staff was not good they were very stink attitude. I will start with the good first! Surrick! Surrick! Surrick! was so super helpful! He helped with EVERYTHING! My friends left me on the resort. He got me a cab, recommended some local shopping while I waited for them to return. AND got me a drink while I waited for the cab. He really knows how to take care of the single mature ladies. Such a gentleman. There were two other ladies at the front desk who were extremely helpful and kind. Shenan (I think), short cut blonde hair. And the young lady with the glasses whose hair is pulled back in a bun. She was always smiling and always helpful. So wonderful to see beautiful people smiling. We ate at the The barbecue restaurant the first night. We didn’t realize a reservation was required. The hosted was superb. The hosted was so sweet and amazing, very accommodating and she smelled amazing. She allowed us to stay and wait for the reserved guest. She sat us. The food was a 10 out of 10! Next, I recommendation is the seafood restaurant. The view, the grouper, the red snapper was all good. If you like your seafood seasoned bring your own. But the staff is absolutely wonderful! Get the massage ! Perfect way to start a vacation. Julia was excellent! The sound of the waves crashing while getting a full body sugar scrub was amazing! Ask for Julia. I am comparing this to my over all experience from the tours, and everyone I encountered. I stayed for 7 days in Curacao. Now the horrible! The team at the Maya restaurant was not as friendly as all of the other staff we encounter/ I encountered. I scheduled a reservation and I was the only guest required to show a confirmation number for my reservation. I had an all inclusive stay. They found my reservation, sat other people (who didn’t look like me) but didn’t have a reservation. Then, they asked me to show them a confirmation number for my reservation. Finally sat us and rushed us through the meal. The food was cold and dry. It was simply NOT a good experience for me. The on-site photography pictures were mid. The photographers attitude was worse than taking the pictures. For $250 and 10 pictures, you would think the photographer knows how to treat his customers. Not one kind word. He seemed like he either didn’t want to be there or he had a preconceived notion of how he should talk to certain women. The package says the pictures would be edited and touched up. They were not. I was sweating during the shoot they did not edit the sweat. It made the dress appear to have stains.. He did not edit the sweat stains from the dress. My underwear was showing they did not edit my underwear out. It was not a good experience capital AT ALL! I will have to pay someone else to get the pictures retouched before I can hang them in my house. Be prepared to eat with the birds at the buffet. When I tell you there are birds everywhere freaking where. You get up to get water and the birds will sit down at your table and pick your food. There were birds flying up to and actually drinking from the juice spikett ??. The guest seemed not to have food etiquette. There were people standing at the buffet eating from the serving plate ??. I checked out and checked into the Marriott which was less than 3 miles away.

Amazingly good staff overall. The coffee bar guy knew our order by the third day. Joyner the concierge was beyond helpful and supportive. The rooms on the first level are a bit noisy so if you are early to bed, request elsewhere. The most comfortable bed and pillows - wow! Beach is pretty - rocky with sand that’s been brought in so easy to walk on. Comfy chairs that could use some maintenance on the cushions. Lots of areas that are not too busy. Nothing was too crowded. Lots of space on the pool deck and beach. The Turkish restaurant was phenomenal. The other food varied greatly. Some excellent food in the buffet and some less so. Wonderful variety though! Reservations have to be made one day ahead and they are very strict about time and ordering all at once. The resort is so close to the city and a small national park; we were so glad to take advantage of the museums and mangrove park. The Kura Holanda was amazing and so unexpected given the small island. The WiFi was HORRIBLE. It became completely untenable and made it hard to plan outings. Everything else was completely fine if not great. That brought a 4.5 rating to a 3.5 and the lovely staff pushed it up to a 4.0.

Sherline was excellent help at the front desk with check in and exit.

This resort was a great stay definitely book this place you ant be disappointed Jayner was so nice and helpful
