I’ll leave another review later, but I wanted to note the extreme amount of noise coming from the beach club bar next-door, which is not a part of the resort. It is absolutely loud and you can feel the bass in your room until the wee morning hours. We are here now and you almost can’t hear the TV in the riff based on this thumping noise.

The location is beautiful, and a few of the areas were under construction. We loved seeing the cruise ships arrive and depart. The oceanfront area is a bit uncomfortable to walk on, save for a few areas. The snorkelling was a lot of fun; watch out for venomous fish in the deeper parts (water shoes worked fine). The staff seemed to be unmotivated or indifferent, for the most part. Someone unexpectedly came into our room on the first night to offer drinks; we were unsure if it was legitimate. The lady working as a concierge was helpful. One waitress at the seafood restaurant was insisting we fill out a positive survey for her during our meal (via QR code, but not Wi-Fi was available), which felt pushy. Bartenders would see customers and ignore them until they spoke up. There was a staff member at the sushi restaurant that was so nice, but I forgot his name (I think it started with A). Onur at Coral Bar was great! The food service needs the most improvement of anything on this resort. We waited for 2 hours for room service after placing the order on the app. Someone came to the door with an incomplete order and said he'd have to return with the last item. We followed up but got tired of waiting, so we went to the pool. Menus are not always needed as they serve you what they want to serve you sometimes. Health measures need to be in place at the buffet. Not enough tongs so as to not cross contaminate. The new cutlery was sometimes dirty. Not enough food covered. The towels, plates, and spoons were not refilled in the buffet. On other notes, the cleanliness was lacking. Dirty food and linens were left in the hallway for a long time. When the room was cleaned, not all the towels were replaced. The rooms were not soundproof. Could hear child wailing through wall at all hours. Also, the wastewater from seafood restaurant drained directly into the the ocean. This hotel has lots of potential to be amazing, but a few important items need to be fixed.

Beautiful resort about 10 minutes from the airport and walking distance to downtown Willemstad. Check in was smooth and our room had an ocean/cruise ship view. Buffet can initially be a little overwhelming because there are so many choices. Service at the pool bar is very slow but the others are ok. Everything was great and we look forward to going again.
