Great place to stay

Checking in was very easy and no problems at all. Blaze took care of our family and also gave my daughter a birthday gift. Very nice of him. Room is very clean especially the bathroom with an awesome toilet with a bidet. Remind me of Japan standard. Shower floor needs to be fix cause water will get out onto the floor. Beside that it a great hotel. Mahalo
Okay, some downsides and would stay elsewhere next time

Was okay. Me and my partner booked here as we only wanted a room, as we like to explore and spend time in the sea rather than a pool area and don’t need or want much, which was the reasoning for booking at Romer House Waikiki. We booked as a vacation package with West Jet and unfortunately we were slapped with a $600 CAD service and amenity charge for the pool etc as soon as we arrived, which I had thought was included in the price. But I think it’s just the usual thing in America to pay for service charges unfortunately, on top of everything else. It dampened the mood a little, and I felt like we paid a pretty hefty price all in all for a small hotel with just a pool and bar area. It’s a nice space but it just wasn’t the right fit for us all in all, we had a king standard room and it only provided a bed, mini fridge and bathroom which was another down side. No microwave, or kitchen space, or balcony. The balcony was an extra charge per night. There was also wedding receptions and parties held in the lobby which we felt was a little inappropriate, as it was extremely loud and you would walk in and not even feel like you were a guest in your own hotel. It wasn’t what we would expect at all, but the beautiful island of Honolulu made up for it and we just made sure we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel. Thanks for having us.
Love it!

This has to be one of the best and most personable stays I’ve had in Hawaii. I would like to give a special shoutout to Nia (and the cleaning lady) - the reason I’m rating my stay here 10/10. They are very honest people and filled with aloha. They both went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. Long story short… I forgot my headsets in the room after we checked out. The cleaning lady returned my headsets and Nia went out of her way to locate and immediately mail my headsets to me. Additionally, upon entering the hotel Nia immediately welcomed me and my partner with a big smile and had so much compassion and kindness. She eagerly checked us in and gave us local food recommendations easing the anxiety we had after a long flight and lack of sleep. I was also very happy with the breakfast I had at 855 Aloha, especially the açaí bowl and breakfast burrito. I booked a room which included breakfast. It was convenient to have the option to stay in the room or go down to the dining area for breakfast. Only thing I’d recommend is to have a rotation of food options for people have longer stays, but otherwise breakfast was superb and waiters were very friendly. I would like to add the location of the hotel is also a plus. I would 10/10 recommend staying at Romer House Waikiki and look forward to returning! :)
