Amazing staff

We like the central location of the Sunscape along the beach and nearness to the amenities across the street. The best thing we like about this resort is the staff. The bellmen like Zenon and Sergio are always available to assist as well as provide tips about getting around the area. Katya at the front desk was always smiling and happy to make change for smaller bills when we needed. We had a drainage issue with our shower and reception issues with our tv and Katya called to ensure our concerns were handled immediately. Iza at Coco’s was a pleasure to banter with while she made our coffees…always smiling. Geovani has nonstop energy throughout his shift, either behind the bar or providing service in his area. He is personable and always ready to have a quick chat about daily life stuff. When we sat in Luis’ area we found him to be efficient and again, always smiling. Behind the bar, Simon, Irvin and Angel are always great. The food at the Sunscape is typical fare you find at most resorts these days. Again, it’s the staff that make the experience enjoyable. Berenice, Anna, Alecia (who is retiring and has been a big part of our Sunscape experience), Juana, and Jose are “Sunsational” and go above and beyond (especially for mi jefa). Daniela is always available to discuss any food issues or concerns with anyone. Not gonna lie, we have stayed at other resorts along the beach but they priced themselves completely out of range for the service they provide. We sincerely hope the Sunscape does not do the same.
Not what was expected from a well known resort ( multi family)

the resort is beat down with no remodeling or proper maintenance done in a very long time,The rooms where beat down also with sinks falling out to mirrors that turned black from age , cracked wall tile and pool tiles missing all over . The bar fridge to be stocked daily didnt happen and had to keep reminding them food was ok but cold a lot and we decided to eat off resort a lot which was not in our budget. the staff where great to deal with and accommodating ,
You can truly relax here

We just came back from one week vacation at this resort with kids and my parents. Everyone loved it. It is a small resort and there are limited food and drinks options but you can always find something at the buffet that you like. What I really love is the customer service and there’s no booking at their restaurant. Unlike big resorts, you can just roll up to dinner and activities here and it is not crowded. You can truly relax. Everyone on staff is amazing. My kids are 10 and 12 and while there are not a lot of tweens or teens there, the snack machine and teen club staff are so wonderful to them that they feel right at home. Also, they have a lot of freedom as the place is small, so we are not worried about them doing their own thing as it is easy to find them. The beach is also among the best I’ve been in Mexico. I really loved this adorable resort and it is probably one of the few that I would return to.

Aylin was amazing she helped me get gluten free food she went over the top to be helpful. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfy. Food was good. Service at the pool Tony was the best. I would recommend SUNSCAPE 100%

5 STARS and huge shout out to: Geovani on the beach. This guy didn't miss a step during our 2 week vacation. Friendly and personable. We didn't have to remind him of our drinks and he was always on the move. Best beach service we've ever had. Jose and Mario at the buffet. These guys are attentive and started our days off right. Always willing to stop for a chat. Karla hostess and food truck. So friendly and always smiling. Alvin, Simon pool bar. Fun and good bartenders. Hotel needs some major upgrades. Rattling windows in the room, loud A/C, safe didn't work, doors slammed and sometimes wouldn't open. Beds were comfortable though. Strange rules for dining that weren't always enforced (pants for men, no flip flops, sleeves for men even at the breakfast buffet). Food was subpar and house brands of booze aren't good. Since they don't have wrist bands, you have to provide your room number for everything which gets annoying.
