2 bedroom room is ideal for families. Pools are fabulous and open till 10! They are even heated a bit and are great for kids with fun waterfalls. Location is perfect right on the beach with surf break just offshore. I snorkeled down the beach at airport beach and it was great. Nice place to walk/jog down the beach in the morning or evening. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay and will go back in a heartbeat.

Great view, clean and updated room but no midstay cleaning included. Pots and pans very limited, no blender or rice cooker but the view and whales were awesome. Pools great for the kids and perfect temperatures. Location across from Times Market and Food trucks very convenient. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed here during the Thanksgiving holiday break. We hadn’t been to Maui since the Lahaina fires and it was great to be back to support their recovery by visiting again, This property is a charming quintessential vintage Hawaii hotel that’s situated near other more contemporary hotels we stayed in before. Our one bedroom suite was sizable with a nice kitchen. We liked the balcony with a nice right side view of the ocean. The beach on the property was nice but had a strong current so we just did some whale watching from the pool day bed which was enjoyable, The pool near the beach was nice and warm. The restaurant was decent and we had drinks and dinner there once during our stay when we weren’t exploring Kaanapali beach. We also like the shops on the property. The hotel staff are all full of the aloha spirit and very pleasant. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.

We have been blessed to be able to take our family and grand kids to AKS multiple times and will always choose AKS for our trips back to the island that means so much to us. The grandsons enjoy the pools and property so much. Thank you to our AKS Ohana for your Aloha and memories.

Currently staying at the hotel in a 2 bedroom and it is really outdated, needs better cleaning. As soon as we checked in my son went to the bathroom and saw a roach and then later I saw a dead insect in the pantry. The furnishings are old and felt like a cheap motel room. Only upside are the pools and the front desk. I was pleasantly surprised to find them heated which was really nice with the Jan breeze. Staff at front desk and checkin were also very nice
