Hotel location is very convenient. Close to local retreatants, shops and super market. We got an ocean front suite, perfect view. Rooms are good size and clean. Very good value.

Rude staff.

Do not stay here. The front desk staff is very rude. I have never written a bad review before on any of our trips. The way we were treated by the front staff was uncalled for. When asked to store our luggage while we were checking out they were beyond rude. The girl at the desk replied Jesus Christ and slammed the door in our face while barely getting our luggage in. I understand people have bad days but using Gods name on vain is unacceptable. It took all of 5 minutes to store our luggage . The person who was there when we picked up our luggage was just as rude. The rooms are old and outdated. But I could overlook that if it wasn’t for the way we were treated

Won't stay here again

First 5 days, generator on due to county work in the canal down below our room. Not your fault, im aware. Next 4 days, demolition of wrecked boat near our room. Major noise. Then on Saturday when we thought we would get some quiet, tents set up for a wedding below our room which was noisy and had to keep our doors shut to avoid the noise. Which we still heard.   Alot of money spent with no peace and quiet Sent from my Galaxy

Awesome, the hotel and gardens, are beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. It is also very handy having a restaurant on site, that also has entertainment.

Avoid at all costs: very rude staff named KARA at front desk

We spent thousands of dollars to book a room in this hotel for more than a week and I specifically called them in advance asking for a room in upper floors. Once we arrived, the staff member (her named Kara) said she only has 1 room available in the whole building and that is on the lowest floor with no view (we did pay for specific ocean view though). We asked for paying more to upgrade to any room available at higher price but she refused and said “all” rooms are booked and we have this only one left. We refused to take that room and asked for refund. The parking was almost empty that night and her statement of being all booked did not make sense at all. Seeing our insist, Kara gave me a phone number that nobody was responding to, only to kill our time and overwhelm us. Only when I was about to raise the issue to the police, she suddenly throw (with zero respect) a set of keys for a room on a very high floor toward us with anger, which indicated that the room was available all the time she was refusing and killing our time and ruining our vacation for no reason. She never apologized for her extremely disrespectful behavior and was intentionally trying to give us the worst room possible though we paid for an ocean view room and paid more. This was really shocking that I read other negative reviews about this specific staff member as well and this hotel management don’t care about guest experience in their staffing decision. All hotels I have been to take guest experience very very serious, and never staff a lying and extremely disrespectful person like Kara. Avoid this hotel at any cost. You’re going to spend thousands of dollars and a respectful behavior is so basic for a hotel staff to have which would affect your vacation.
