Fantastic place. Utterly fantastic. Stayed for 5 days, 2 rooms -- both ocean view, one king, one double queen. We had requested adjoining rooms, but they couldn't accommodate that request. However, the front desk personnel (all incredibly nice, friendly, helpful and terrific) worked really hard to get us as close as possible -- we ended up only a few steps apart in gorgeous, spacious rooms overlooking one of the pools with a front row seat to all the whale activity and boats going back and forth to Molokini. The lobby area alone is incredible. There's a movie theater in the building -- just walk in. On-site restaurants were absolutely great, but if sit-down dining doesn't appeal, there's also a Starbucks and a pizza take-out place on-site. Nothing in Hawaii is inexpensive anymore but this felt like you actually got your money's worth. Oh, and don't forget the continental breakfast included -- every morning we'd stop by the Starbucks and get our complimentary coffee or tea, fruit cup (3 different types of fruit chunks in a good-sized container), and pastry (varied from a big chunk of banana bread to more sugary bearclaw-type pastry. We visited 4 islands and stayed in upscale hotels on each island, but this was, by far, the absolute best. We didn't even see all the property, which is huge, has multiple pools and seating areas, walking trails, etc., and probably a lot more we never got to. We'd have probably been better off if we'd just stayed here for 3 weeks. Fantastic people (front desk, bellmen, housekeeping, maintenance), fantastic location, fantastic rooms (did I mention the snuggly robes in each room?) -- cannot recommend the Wailea Beach Resort highly enough!! Loved it!!

My husband and I are truly impressed by a hotel front desk staff, Ms. Shanley in the evening of February 27/ 2026 ref. Room type upgrade. Not only a great problem solver but also Ms.Shanley is best at service minded. Building customer believes in Hotel brand royalty which cannot be replaced with AI. In our case, Ms. Shanley tried her best very professionally. We are really appreciate it. Thank Marriott for always pick all the best for customers and big thank to Ms. Shanley. Great beach for swimming, snorkeling, and boogie boards. Small parking lot, get there early. We arrived at 8 a.m. and parking was 3/4 full. Entrance a little hard to find. Very small sign. Located between the Four Seasons and Grand Wailea Resorts. Set up in the middle of the beach. Resorts set up lots of chairs and umbrellas on either side. Snorkel near the lava rocks to the left for best fish and coral.

We just got back from a wonderful trip to Wailea. The Marriott Wailea Beach Resort sits on prime real estate in Wailea, you cannot get closer to the ocean and the scenery is second to none. The rooms and the pools are fantastic but it is the staff who make this hotel a must stay. The front desk staff are so professional and welcoming. Ves and Terrence went above and beyond to welcome us, the room attendant made sure the room looked brand new every day and the pool service was excellent. Thank you Wailea Beach Resort for a beautiful family holiday!

The resort is beautiful and we really enjoyed it last year so we decided to book again this year. Honestly I was disappointed! I had called a couple of days before to request the same ocean view room we had and was told it was booked, which of course I understood, but they could put us in the same building a few rooms down, no problem. At check in I was told it was another building ( close by) but it definitely wasn’t in a quiet location which is what I requested. We were right across from where housekeeping got their carts and on the tile floor it was loud. At check out they never even asked if we enjoyed our trip, they didn’t care! With all the other resorts near by I think I can do better!
