Take ear plugs.
Sharlene W on Jan 09, 2025
Stayed at the hotel as part of a tour group and was really disappointed. The hotel looked so nice in the photos, and the room was a good size, but the in-room air conditioning unit was so noisy that some considerate person had left ear plugs in the bedside drawer. Honestly the noise was like standing next to a bus engine. We had to turn off the AC so we could hear each other speak and sleep.
Not worth the price

This place might look like a luxury resort but we felt treated like sardines. It’s funny how the most expensive places always tend to nickel and dime you, and that’s how it felt here. The room was incredibly small for the four of us and our bathtub was dirty and seemed to have a leak somewhere. Despite mentioning this several times it was never addressed during our four night stay. The saving grace was the pool, which I really enjoyed and appreciated that there was a pool bar.
This place needs a serious deep clean

This place was terrible. I wish i read the reviews before booking a room here. We arrived late in the evening, got a room facing the front of the hotel right above by reception. No big deal. The bedding literally had shoe marks across the pillows and the base sheet. Someone just took a walk and housekeeping didn't bother cleaning OR housekeeping took a walk for a good measure. We got moved to a second room, only around the corner, still facing the front of the hotel. At first glance looked ok. But it must be the same housekeeper as in the previous room - there were candy wrappers under our pillows, room didn't have a fridge, massive pee stain on the toilet bowl, two out of the three amenities in the shower were empty, stains on towels and hair on towels and on robes and slippers. I "slept" in a sweatshirt because i was too afraid to see what else was there and we just needed to get some sleep. But sleep we didn't get - everyone leaving the casino, was leaving by our room, we could hear all drunken people shouting and singing. Cleanliness is zero for me here. It was terrible.
No so handicap accessible!

I’m guessing they still haven’t fixed the floor, etc., in the “handicap-accessible” room we stayed in earlier this month, which is why I’m posting this here (as a warning)—we reported some of the room’s failings once or twice while there but chose not to make a bigger deal since we were obviously in Kelowna for other purposes! Biggest problem: the contour of the floor near the entryway was surprisingly awkward and uneven, which given my wife’s balance problems was potentially dangerous. Yes, they had removed any ledges or lips in the flooring to facilitate wheelchairs but in smoothing things over did so in a way anyone walking could not anticipate with each step which way the surface would next turn. Similarly, the chair by the desk would drop down an unexpected extra foot or so whenever sat in—not the kind of surprise we appreciated. And at one point (and I think this only happened once) the night stand light closest to the bathroom suddenly flickered and went dim, eventually returning on its own to normal status. Besides these potentially more crucial issues, the mattress was also a bit lumpy and sound from outside our room was so clear at times I could even hear the elevator chime in the middle of the night!
Would stay here again

Would stay here again. The property is in a great location - along the lake with a really nice boardwalk & a couple of blocks walking distance from pretty much everything in town. Friendly staff, really nice bar & restaurant in the lobby. Our room was a mini apartment with bedroom, sitting area & kitchen.
