Great hotel in great location

mccud (Liverpool, United Kingdom) on Sep 08, 2024

Great hotel in a great location. Fantastic restaurant right on the waterfront. Staff friendly and helpful (shout to Monique for great service) . Pool area nice with inside and outside pools. Nice nibbles and cocktails at the poolside bar.

Over priced

dankmen on Sep 07, 2024

I have stayed here every year for the past 7 years. There has been clear budget cuts throughout the years. The prices have skyrocketed (paid 6 dollars for a glass of milk for our toddler, strangely it was 5$ two months ago), 80$ is the cost of local flip flops from the Canery, not to mention the poolside bar costs. The wine tasting used to be a highlight with wineriers coming into the hotels tasting room doing proper tastings. It is now 2 types of wine in the hallway and pulling teeth to get more than a sip of wine. The gold members used to get 20-30$ credit per stay (or day), now its 15$ total per stay and cannot be used on the day of check out. The resort fees have gone up. I understand inflation but do not try to impress us with "free extras" that we end up paying for more now. Staying at the different hotel next year despite being a Marriot Gold Member.

Amazing breakfast service staff

Tardykat (New York City, New York) on Sep 02, 2024

We were assigned room 424 and is a connecting room. The window overlooks the restaurant patio and one can see a tiny bit of the Lake Okanagan. The room is fairly bright and spacious. Bottled water is complimentary in the room and you can ask for more at the front desk. The sink and shower drains a bit slow so water pools a bit. Oak + Cru restaurant is in the lobby and offers delicious food. We were part of a group tour so had breakfast included and set up in conference rooms. The breakfast service staff were super friendly and quick. I really like the Delta Hotel pastries, particulary the croissant and the mini doughnuts with fillings. At another Delta Hotel, I was told the croissants were baked on the premises and the doughnuts were made for the hotel. The second morning of my stay, there were no doughnuts with fillings at the buffet table so I asked a staff if there are any. He went to the kitchen and brought me a whole tray! Service was quick, always someone on hand to refill coffee or clear used plates.

Great location, friendly staff - beware of resort fee

Ruth M on Aug 04, 2024

Great location and friendly staff. Beware of resort fee - quite high and works oddly. you get $20 credit per day, but it is based on calendar day, not length of stay. If you don't use it your first day of check-in, then you don't get it! you don't get it on your last day. I pay for a hotel from 4pm-11 am, so i expect a credit to cover that time period. If you check in late at night, you can't use that $20. Breakfast was delicious. Pool delightful.

Excellent location; outstanding staff and service

Shiraz S (Canada) on Jul 24, 2024

Spent a few days in June at this really smashing hotel. This was a repeat visit and the hotel, beyond it stunning location and pretty good rooms, continues to render excellent service from all staff especially at the Oak and Cru Restaurant (thanks Emma, Senna, etc.) and reception desk (very special mention and thanks to Ronit Sharma, Manager). Thanks for a great visit.
