For over $200 a night, what do you expect from a hotel? An available space for oversized vehicles that won't fit in their parking garage? A clean bathroom? Simple functional amenities like a working coffee machine or a recycling bin? Not here. Not that many hotels have been a shining example of value in recent years, however, I booked my stay with Hyatt as in the past, you could atleast expect a certain floor of effort from them. Instead, what we got was an above ground parking lot constantly filled with small cars well below the 6'7 limit leaving us with street parking over a block away next to cars that have already been broken into, a coffee machine that was so leaky you could use it to strain pasta, a bathroom floor so dirty that a fallen wet washcloth goes from white to brown in an instant, and an unconsented sign-up for a World of Hyatt account that still hasn't been deleted because their "customer service" likes to run you through so many hoops before letting you go. Everything else was generally a "just fine" experience, but we will be considering other options next stay as this one severely under delivered on already low expectations.

Check in/out was seamless and quick. Parking was easy. Room and hotel in general was clean and pleasant. Great, consistently positive experience each time I stay here.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place Kelowna for our son's wedding weekend. We booked through Hyatt. We had to make several changes to our reservation due to a schedule change after we booked and one of our rooms no longer being needed. I had contact with the hotel by phone and email and every time my questions/needs were addressed quickly, professionally and everyone was extremely helpful. There was an ice machine and microwave in the common area of our floor. There was water available in the fitness room. The rooms were clean, there was a refrigerator and safe in our room along with a sofa and desk in the sitting area. The rooms were cleaned every day and when I needed some paper they were happy to help. We had drinks in the bar/lounge area twice and both times were served quickly and our drinks were great. The first night there was a male bartender who came to our table and talked about whiskey with my husband. Our stay was great, the staff were friendly and helpful and everything was clean and looked modern.

We had a wonderful experience at Hyatt Place Kelowna. The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made our stay extremely enjoyable. The staff was consistently welcoming, professional, and attentive, always making sure guests felt well taken care of. The level of customer service truly stood out and made a lasting impression. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kelowna.

I visited Kelowna in May 2026 and stayed at the Hyatt Hotel for a couple of days. This was my second stay in this hotel, and I didn’t got disappointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful, hotel itself is very clean, the internet is working very well and the location is very centralized. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to come and visit Kelowna.
