Could use some updates
meeggs (Vancouver, Canada) on Jan 17, 2026
This was my third time staying at this hotel. The location is great! The room we were originally given was a bit run down with mold in the shower and a damaged bathroom door that didn’t stay closed. The hotel team moved us to a new room next door and it was much better. The fire alarm went off twice during the night at 4am and 5am so we didn’t get the best sleep. The pantry for Bonvoy members is a nice touch and great to grab snacks and a quick breakfast. Would stay here again but it would be great if the hotel could do some updates to the rooms and the gym which are showing signs of wear.
Will return!

My partner was here for a conference and I tagged along. We were stoked to be upgraded to a suite in the north wing that overlooked the water. At check in we were also given bottled water which was a nice touch after our air travel. The suitewas well appointed and in good repair. We agreed the bed was the softest we’d slept in in awhile but was still comfortable. We both made use of the spa facilities and were a bit surprised that it couldn’t be billed to the room. Because we came in late October there was no resort fee. However looking at the things included for the fee, it appeared to be a good value.
Best in town?

We stayed here on our way through BC to Vancouver. Above average Delta hotel. More like a Marriott IMO. Very nice grounds next to the beach, main waterfront parks and very close to downtown and Rockets Junior hockey rink/games. Spotless rooms and comfy bed. The cool tile floor didn’t bother me but the wife used her slippers. Nice spot.
It's Fine

Overall, the stay was fine, but very expensive for what you get. The pool area was just okay, more like a basic motel pool than anything special. The location was fantastic, although Ubers took a long time to arrive. Housekeeping sometimes comes, sometimes doesn't (even when you request). We tried the breakfast buffet once, and while it was very good, it was too expensive to do every day. The highlight was the room: sunny, spacious, and with a gorgeous lake view that made a great first impression. Still, the overall value was not there. It was fine, but not in line with the price, and there is nothing that would make me go back and stay again.
Not so grand, Delta Kelowna

The hotel is grand, alright. But is missing many basic services. There is no actual store within the hotel for shopping, i.e., bathing suits, hats, sundries. There is a high-end mens shop, which was closed the whole time of visit. The hotel is very family friendly but that made the very small pool a kids playground and was not inviting or relaxing. Many adults were vaping, and this was offensive. Our room was ample, and fine but the faux balconies were useless.
