Thank you Kristine

What a beautiful and relaxing week we just had with my family. Despite the smoke during the first days the crew made everything to make us feel confortable. I want to especially highlight the hotel Manager - Kristine for her exceptional support during all our stay. She does such a great job and i really understand why her staff is so aligned with this spirit of high level service. We really look forward to go back to Kelowna soon. Thank you Kristine and your great team
Great location, good hotel if you can book on promotion or off-season

It's a bit of a stretch to consider this a true resort, but we enjoyed our visit and would book again at a more reasonable price. They're doing their best to keep the property updated, but the room itself was tired with water damaged areas in the bathroom, standard box store finishes and a 1.5 inch gap under the door from replacing carpet with vinyl flooring which let all the noise and smoke from the hallway into the room. I had to fix the toilet myself after the tank stopped filling; it took 2 seconds but altogether I think of properties I've stayed in which costed the same but were much better put together and it suddenly feels like we overpaid. The resort fees were clearly mentioned ahead of time, and are not unusual at this type of property. The location of the hotel couldn't be better - lots of places to walk, shop and eat. The restaurant and Pantry were ok and not outrageously priced, though the pool restaurant was closed for all 3 days we were there (in August). Though there were servers sporadically walking around, the poolside service was pretty much non-existent. Particular high points were the cleaning staff, restaurant servers, outdoor pool area and how connected the resort is to green space and downtown Kelowna.
Disappointed

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort. While I redeemed Marriott Bonvoy points for my stay, the booking still represented a value of approximately $740, and I was surprised to be charged an additional $45 resort fee upon check-in. This fee was not disclosed to me during the check-in process, and I was not made aware that it would be added to my bill. Had I known about this charge in advance, I would have appreciated the opportunity to understand exactly what it covered. Unfortunately, the quality of the room did not reflect the premium price or value of the stay. The in-room wall-mounted air conditioning unit was extremely loud throughout the night. The following morning, I attempted to make a cup of coffee, only to discover that the coffee maker would not work. After calling for assistance, a staff member informed me that the electrical outlets in the room often do not work properly with the coffee makers. I was instructed to move the coffee maker into the bathroom and plug it in there in order to use it. I found this completely unacceptable. For a hotel of Marriott’s reputation and at the price point of this stay, I should not have to move a coffee maker into the bathroom simply to make a cup of coffee. Basic room amenities should function properly, and guests should not have to work around known maintenance issues. Overall, I was very disappointed with the quality of both the accommodations and the experience, especially given the value of the room and the additional resort fee. I have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years and have come to expect a much higher standard.
Nice hotel for a conference

Stayed here for a conference. Hotel is newish and my room was large with a comfortable bed. Hotel is very clean. It is right on the water and having a drink on the patio on the lake was really lovely. There are a few things I thought the hotel was a little “cheap” on which is why I am only giving it a 4 star review rather than a 5. The styrofoam cups instead of coffee cups for the in room coffee maker, lack of a bathrobe or slippers, and very slow elevator are really my only complaints about this hotel .
Comfortable stay, busy hotel
Christine B (Chessington, United Kingdom) on Jul 08, 2026
It was very busy when we arrived due to a hockey tournament. Checked in with a very friendly trainee and given room 1006 on the 10th floor overlooking the lake. Nice large room, very light. Huge comfortable bed, chair, desk, fridge. Bathroom was small with a good shower. Lots of power sockets but WiFi only worked for me and the safe didn’t work at all. The Pantry for Bonvoy Elite Members had varying food offers including crisps, cereal bars, fruit, hard boiled eggs and soft drinks. For breakfast, there were cheese, egg and ham muffins, sandwiches cereals etc. but when they were gone, they were gone! A daily wine tasting was supposedly included in resort fee. but they didn't show up: the Food and Beverage manager apologised and offered us two complimentary glasses of wine at the bar as compensation, which was lovely.
