Rooms were ok for the budget. Dusty but at least updated and the bed was good. Check in process was terrible for us, staff at desk wasn't particularly helpful and the line was long and moved slowly due to a lack of staff. They oversold our room type and weren't helpful or sympathetic to their screw up and offered us nothing in return. They made it our inconvenience to stand in another long line the next day to get the room we paid for.

This is an older hotel but the rooms are very clean! The value for the money cannot be beat. Needing a budget friendly hotel on the strip? Give serious thought to booking a room at the Excalibur. It’s not new or fancy - and could seriously use a new coat of paint, but the staff are nice, and the rooms are quiet and clean.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. Would absolutely stay here again. This is a resort we have stayed at quite often when going.

The room was old and noisy from the monorail station

Excalibur is slowly but surely going the automated route. If you choose to stay here and you have a disability, please keep in mind that from both towers (The Royal and the Resort tower) there is an incline leading to the casino floor. At the top of those inclines, be prepared to be harassed by the people trying to get you to attend a seminar for some show tickets. Just go ahead and pay out of pocket for the show. I understand that everybody needs a job, but good grief it is a turn off each and every time I go to my room or go to the casino floor, the same person is asking me the same question. Such a turn off.
