Good resort but no room amenities

The hotel and resort is great. It has easy access to nearby properties, restaurants, shops, etc and The Tournament of Kings show along with an arcade gaming room is on the lower floor. The only negative I have with this property is there are no amenities in the rooms. You saw that correctly, no coffee pot, no microwave, no little refrigerator, nothing. They have a Starbucks inside the hotel and if you escalator up to the food court there are all kinds of restaurants and shops. If you get up early then you are out of luck for your morning coffee until Starbucks opens. I was surprised by the lack of these what I consider basic amenities and if I stay in Las Vegas again, I would do an Air B & B…

They stole my belongings on two different occasions. A month ago they stole the belongings I left inside room by 12 pm check out was at 11am I was late getting back from breakfast belongings gone and no one cared. This time they’ve stolen court documents and a bunch of new clothes pair of cole hann boots I just bought, and my house and car keys!! I filed a police report. The couple behind me in line at lost and found says they stole there cell phone. House keeping supervisor- EVA LOPEZ needs to check her sticky finger employees but she’s probably in on it. House keeping stealing my men’s clothes to give to there spouses. THEIF’S you’ve been warned they will steal from you and do nothing to help locate/track your belongings. If you can’t trust the people cleaning the room then you can’t trust this hotel. Good luck!

Very disappointed with our check-in experience at Excalibur. The website let us book both early check-in and connecting rooms, but when we arrived we were told we couldn't have both. We ended up waiting until after 11 a.m. and still didn't even get rooms in the same building. Not the start to our trip we were hoping for. We made the best of it, but the booking process and communication definitely need improvement. I also got charged for both Early Check-in and Connecting Rooms, it's almost a week later still and I'm still trying to get my refund.

NICE EXPERIENCE

We brought our dog. It was a great experience!! Excalibur is SOoooo much nicer than it used to be. It was a GREAT value. We stayed in several hotels to and from Las Vegas on our 1700 mile trip with the dog. They were all different, but overall Excalibur was the nicest. Most the those "medium priced" hotels were way more expensive than a night at Excalibur. I booked through Excalibur because of the dog using my MGM rewards card (lowest tier). I would definitely go back, especially with a dog.
