Excellent Casino Staff Member Shelley

Pat G (Chesapeake) on Feb 28, 2026

This is a shout-out for Casino Employee Shelley on Monday 09 February 2026 about 9:00 pm. We stayed at Excalibur in early February and enjoyed it very much. All staff we talk with were kind and considerate. This review is about the Casino experience. I accidently left a machine without cashing out and the value was $450.00. A couple of minutes I went back and there was no one sitting at the machine or was the money still there. It was my stupid mistake so I went to another machine and jokingly said to my sister and brother-in-law- "Guess I need to win the Grand Jackpot ($5,000+) or Major ($914.). The next turn I hit for the $914. and we laughed. Shortly after we went to one of the machines to cash out and when I finished and turned around there were three (3) Casino Employees standing behind me. I initially wondered what I had done wrong. One of the gentlemen told me that I had left a cash amount in one of the machines and Shelley had noticed it, punched it out and they started investigating. As I did NOT have a members player's card they pulled up the AI surveillance films and tracked me through the casino and returned the ticket to me. So I not only got back the $450 I'd left in the machine but with the $914 I won I had a very good night. Thanks again Shelley for being so vigilant in your duties.

Nasty motel 6 equivalent

EricaS1572 (Houston, Texas) on Feb 28, 2026

This place was awful. My reservation said “newly renovated.” I’m not sure what world whoever wrote that is living in, but there’s no way any person with two functioning eyeballs can look at those rooms and say they’ve been renovated. When I called down to the front desk to complain about my room and how it hadn’t been vacuumed after the last guest, I mentioned the newly renovated verbiage from my reservation. She proceeded to tell me it wasn’t renovated…it was refreshed. So now they’re expecting me to be dumb and blind. Because there’s no other rationale for what we experienced. The ventilation is also awful. The smoke smell from the casino is so bad, and you’re forced to walk through it to get to either tower to your room. This felt like the Motel 6 of the strip. Want to take a shower? It comes with its own clogged drain so it’s like a bath for your feet. *insert throw up emoji*. A friend needed a pillow brought to her room. It came complete with a freshly stained pillowcase. We stayed one night and then left and went at stayed at Planet Hollywood. The only reason we booked here to begin with was because we traveled with a group and were told we had to. You get what you pay for. The cost was cheap, the room was nasty, the smells were suffocating. You’ve been warned. (Photo is of the extra pillow brought to the room).

Memorable stay :-(

Anne G on Feb 25, 2026

Memorable stay at the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas! Booked a room with a view and got a front-row seat to a majestic white wall — truly the architectural highlight of the century. Attractive price before booking, not so much after all added fees. The room comes with minimalist décor (translation: no amenities), and the staff has thoughtfully added a surprise activity: being locked out of it while enjoying world-class indifference at reception. Five stars for consistency.

Use to be a great low budget casino

Matthew C (Middletown, Delaware) on Feb 19, 2026

Excalibur is what it needs to be, but it’s just missing a few touches. It’s a cheap, low-budget casino hotel, and at one point I honestly thought it was the best in this category. The location is good since you can easily walk to several other casinos on the Strip, and the property still has a fun, casual vibe with plenty of food options and gaming. I specifically came here to play table games because, even though it’s a low-budget casino, I’ve always had fun playing here in the past. That said, the gaming floor used to be great, but recent changes haven’t made it as enjoyable as it once was, and service can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. Overall, it’s still a fair value for the price—just not quite as strong as it used to be.

D9671SSjamiec (Indio, California) on Feb 17, 2026

Arrived a few minutes early berofe check in but Luchie said not to worry and took care of us like family would. She even followed up with a call shortly after confirming everything as I requested. Over all fantastic experience dealing with Luchie. Honestly, if you dont want to have to worry about anything just find her behing the feont desk and you will be well taken care of. Other than that, Hotel is great! So much to see and do here. Rooms are clean and shower was excellent. Will definitely book here next time I am in town just cause of the way Luchie treaded me at checkin.
