My wife and I jetted off to Playa Conchal for our 10-year wedding anniversary, hunting for the perfect mix of pure relaxation and real adventure. The Westin Reserva Conchal delivered both in spades. The food was consistently fresh, flavorful, and downright addictive. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and there was always something fun happening every night to keep the energy high. During the day we soaked up the sun on that gorgeous warm beach and snorkeled in the shallow rocky coves—where we actually got to swim alongside a sea turtle! My wife was over the moon; it was pure magic. We also went all-in on a two-hour ATV adventure, and damn, it was one of the highlights of the entire trip. The tour cruised us along the stunning coastline to two secluded beaches most people never see, then wound through the colorful neighborhoods of Brasilito. Shuttle service picked us up and dropped us off right at the resort, and our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and super accommodating. Even my wife—who usually isn’t into motorized stuff—ended up loving every second of driving her own ATV. She had a blast! I can’t recommend this two-hour tour enough. (They also offer longer ones to waterfalls if you’re feeling extra adventurous.) The whole experience flew by way too fast. We’re already talking about going back.

Traveled here for 4 nights to finish off our spring break with my husband and 2 daughters (ages 16 & 10). What a treat! I believe we are at every restaurant but Manglar and we never had a bad meal. The rooms were a great size for all 4 of us. The howler monkeys and their mango throwing was always entertaining. The main pool is huge but it’s hard to get chairs. I wish more of the Marriott brand would move to the reservation system like at the Gaylord hotels; just two chairs a room would be such a help. We really enjoyed the beach but at this time of year we didn’t have a clear view of the sunset. The electric cart transportation is genius and I felt like every time we stepped out of our room a cart showed up and could drive us to our destination on the grounds. It’s also located inside a private area that includes the golf course and other accusations like full time residents and condos so it felt very safe. Don’t hesitate to book it and enjoy!

Westin Reserva Conchal All Inclusive. We booked two Junior Suites, one using points. We were upgraded at check in to "club level" allowing the adults to use the adult pool and club, adult only restaurants along with top shelf alcohol. Joaquín, Experience Specialist Manager, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable including a cake for our son, a welcome gift and checked in with us throughout our stay. The Westin has a huge pool, crystal clear beach, hiking trails, bikes, paddle boards and snorkeling, and lots of wildlife! The location was a great spot for all our off site adventures and fun.

I stayed at the Weston in Costa Rica and really love the service the pool the people what do you think? Horseback riding excellent horseback riding excellent massage girls on the beach are friendly. The beach is clean and full of colors feels like haven’t. I ran into Eric G on Google chat and he set up a nice shift for me in the morning. I will comback

Our experience was pretty awesome. Overall the food has been really good considering this is an AI. Room has been really clean and cleaned in a timely manner daily. Room service arrives relatively quickly. Golf cart type shuttles to get you anywhere on property but it’s totally walkable. The beach is amazing. I was worried about crowds but it wasn’t bad at all. The water was amazing and calm. We were greeted at the beach by a person selling tours. His name was Erik G (blue TripAdvisor shirt) and he showed us some of his instagram and tours he offers. We ended up booking le Leona waterfall with our 4,8,10 yo. We were picked up on time in really nice large van. Driver was really friendly. He took us to the waterfall and got us setup with two private tour guides. I think they had specifically asked for two bc we had 3 kids with us and they wanted to ensure things went safely and smoothly for us. And they did. The guides were so attentive with our kids esp our 4yo. We could focus on the hike while they monitored her safety. After the waterfall and hike our driver was waiting for us and showed us to the restaurant nearby. He had taken our order before and our food was ready immediately when we arrived. Would definitely book another tour with Erik G. Highly recommend him and the Westin for families.
