Bad

I was very disappointed. I arrived after a long flight, the room was not ready at 3PM, was not ready until much later. The water was low pressure and luke warm. The locks on the doors are stressful to deal with bc you have to turn it a special way. Restaurant opened late, staff was inattentive. When I complained about the water situation staff member was rude and did nothing. The hot tub was also not hot enough and lots of loud noises at night. NOT A GOOD STAY.

Amazing Stay

Beautiful hotel, the pool and hot tub are great! Mario at the front desk was very helpful with anything we needed or had questions about. We loved having the kitchenette, it had everything you need to cook basic meals. The included breakfast at the restaurant was a small portion but good food. We would definitely come back!

Enjoyable experience

We had a lovely short stay as a couple. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and perfect for a quick getaway. Everything was easy and pleasant, and we really enjoyed our time together. Would happily stay again.

Extremely frustrating and terrible customer service

We have stayed at this hotel over ten times this year. We have had a mostly good experience other than problems with the television. We arrived after driving over 8 hours and immediately after arriving they knocked at our door and said they were changing the locks on our door. My question is why we were put in a room and then after the manager comes and speaks to us says oh we are changing all the locks in the hotel today. Why would they be inconveniencing everyone in the hotel and not do it when clients are not here. Then the television is not working. After 45 min they arrive and by the way the hotel is not busy. So then they all leave and then maintenance comes back again because they have to program the door. This whole experience has lasted over two hours. We spoke to the manager and we say we are not paying for this room and he says because we paid on Booking.com he cannot do anything. He says he will take care of our stay next time but we live 6 hrs away and will probably not be back. He says he cannot do anything. This is not about the money this is about customer service and this rates as one of the top worst experiences i have had at any hotel and the worst part is its unnecessary and a terrible customer experience. I worked for 33 years in a customer service environment dealing with millionaire’s and billionaire’s and this is not the way to treat clients at any level..

Nice Hotel with a friendly staff! It’s a long walk to the Malecon/Waterfront but a Taxi is always available. Alma the Concierge was very knowledgeable and a lot of help booking excursions! The restaurant has a small bar inside and a nice area to sit and watch a ballgame. An outdoor bar near the pool would be nice.
