We've stayed at this location before for a previous Disneyland Trip, so we figured that this location would be a no-brainer once it showed up on Costco Travel as one of the hotel options. Booked it on there instead of other booking websites.
The employee I spoke with over the phone Monday morning to make some minor adjustments to our stay made the entire process seamless. However, upon arrival Tuesday night, the Front Desk staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Especially the male evening employee. (I didn't get his name) But, we just arrived off a flight from SNA, I made notes on the reservation stating we would be arriving after 8:30 pm. So, checking in when I told him that it was already pre-paid through Costco Travel, he TOLD ME it wasn't and that I had to just pay upfront and would have to deal with Costco Travel after the trip. (which I knew would be no problem, because Costco always takes care of their members) I thought it was just going to be the security deposit, but I was charged a whole entire stay. I don't really care because it was a credit card and could easily be fixed, but just the fact that I had to get charged another entire stay ($700+) on my card was ridiculous.
He also blatantly asked "Is that your car?" (parked up front) amongst 2 other cars that were unloading as well. While I was loading the luggage cart while waiting on the other guests talking to him, I dont recall him asking them about their vehicles. But he came at me saying that it would be $35/night for parking, which was no big deal to me I did just swipe for $700+ like parking would even matter? Which wasn't a thing years ago, but I didn't make a big deal out of it figured things have changed since the pandemic. I'm not implying that I'm made of money, but also don't talk to me like I can't afford a simple parking fee.
I told him that we would have a stay-over(?)/stay-through(?) extending our 3N4D stay another night, and it was already booked separately, he told me that he didn't have that information there and that I would have to just come back on the morning of the checkout and add on the additional day. We were tired from our flight and travels with our 1-year old and I didn't want to deal with him anymore; he gave us our room keys and we made our way upstairs to drop off our luggage before heading out to get some food nearby.
The next morning I wanted to add my Hilton Honors number to the stay so that it would register on my Hilton App, and the morning male front desk employee was super helpful, I asked if he happened to be working on monday and if he was the same employee that spoke to, and after telling him some details, he remembered my call and told me that everything should be good to go. I then told him the previous evening's incident and he gladly fixed the additional day stay like he knew the plan already and reversed the charges that the evening employee did, and waived the parking fee for the inconvenience.
The morning employee deserves a raise for amazing service and knowing the small guest details, while the evening employee needs to get an extra break or something or preferably not work the check-in desk if he's not going to make check-in a pleasant experience.
Hotel that is just like it looks on their website.

We just got back from SoCal vacation. As a loyal Hilton brand follower we picked this over the Doubletree down the street. I am so glad we did. This place is so clean and neat. It is the off season for Disney and the area so that makes a difference.
First the don't likes:
You have to pay for parking. There is no reason you should have to pay for parking when you own your own parking lot. Just figure it into the rooms. $35 a night is on the upper end even for that area. I know most of them charge parking but they don't need to.
The bar area and the food are worthless. This is a converted hotel that used to have a breakfast buffet so there is a prep area and a bar area. We get a daily credit being a Hilton member so we use it. Almost all of the breakfast items are just microwaved. All they had was coffee since the cappuccino machine must have been broken.
Went to the bar one night and there really was no bartender. Just the front desk person. The food they have were a stack of pizza's that you could get a slice for $5. and some other things that I am sure are microwaved.
For the good:
Our room 516 was spotless and they cleaned every day with new towels. We always take the larger suites and it was very large. If you had children there would be plenty of room. It really was just as the photos on the website show. There are 2, 55 inch TVs , coffee, refrigerator and a microwave. The service was great. We got there and the front desk staff took the time to show us what rooms they had open. We had a running toilet one night. We told them and they had it fixed when we returned with a sorry note and chocolate wrench.
It is a short walk to the front gates of Disney. .8 miles took us about 18 min. We ubered one day and it was only $5. That closeness is a plus.
We probably could see the fireworks out of our window but Disney doesn't do any in late January. We were on the north side 5th floor. The only issue with this side is the traffic noise from the highway. I could hear it in my room with the blinds open. If you are really sensitive to noise I would pick the southside of the hotel.
All in all I would stay again.
Clean Hotel but charge sit down price for TOGO style breakfast?

Very Nice Hotel! Clean, friendly staff!! Only draw back that I can see is the breakfast. As a Hilton Diamond member, I have stayed in many Hilton properties. I don't understand in this style and level of a hotel you would charge sit down prices for a breakfast that is buffet style without the buffet. There's room to have a buffet in the large breakfast area. I would even pay $10.00 per night more to include breakfast. But charge $50.00 for a family of 4 to eat a buffet quality breakfast doesn't cut it! Other then the breakfast I would have given this Hotel 5 Stars. Like I said it is a VERY Clean Hotel
This is our “Go To Place to Stay”. It’s perfect.

We spent Christmas in Disneyland and it was all so special!!!
This is by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at outside Disneyland. The staff was warm and welcoming. They had a cool beach theme throughout. We got to watch the football game in the bar area while sipping on hot chocolate from the complimentary hot chocolate bar. There were lots of cool places to sit downstairs. One morning, I read next to the fireplace on the comfy couch.
Now the room, holy crap it was huge! Lots of space to spread out. The beds were all super comfy. And our view was facing the park, so we got to see the fireworks from the room.
The only challenge was not having a lock on the bathroom barn door, so that was embarrassing for someone in our family. Oops! But otherwise, this is now our “Go to” place when we visit and we’ll recommend this place to anyone who asks.
Oh…and it’s super super close to the entrance.
Great option near Disneyland

Really solid option near the Disneyland Resort for a family friendly hotel that’s in the Hilton family. Rooms are decently sized and well appointed and very modern with a smart TV and comfortable beds. It’s got safe parking (for a fee), EV charging, about a 20 min walk to Disneyland or a less than $10 Uber. Food options are somewhat limited in the hotel but there are a ton of things close by. Noise levels are average but it is a family hotel in a family destination so be prepared for kids running down the hallway, etc. For the price and location, this really is your best option in the area.
