The wait for breakfast is at least 40-60 minutes! Please don’t book this as part of a package! We did that mistake. When I asked staff why there was such a wait, the response was ‘the hotel is at 100% capacity’. I explained that surely the hotel should be able to respond to these needs and relocate more staff for breakfast. The response was that they knew it was an issue and there wasn’t much that could be done. I then raised this with the front desk. They said there was such a wait as it was walk on and the only restaurant in the hotel. I explained that the wait wasn’t made clear when checking in and on the website. She then explained that she could get the manager to contact me. A couple of days later I had an email from Cody Harding who was the assistant manager. He apologised that the experience didn’t meet expectations and said that feedback is always used to improve services. I really hope that the feedback is taken on board as it’s tough to wake up every morning and tell your 2 children that they will have to wait 40-60 minutes each morning for breakfast. This ruined the start of each day for us as a family. If I hadn’t have already had breakfast as park of my hotel package I certainly wouldn’t have eaten there after the first morning. This really wasn’t the experience we were expecting.

3rd year in a row here. Great site & used to love it, but unlikely to return next year. Will likely try somewhere else. Service / cleanliness has just gone off a bit in a few areas. Room door very stiff to open. Asked for a kettle, didn’t get one. Room keys failed a time, got new ones. When leaving called 3 seperate lines for bell service, not answered. Communal lobby toilets not clean. Communal lounge with gas fire between buildings very dirty and gas fire not always switched on at night. In Starbucks, drip coffee either missing or cold 3 days in a row.

The Regency is outstanding in every aspect, from the grounds and beatification, staff, our room and the Watertable is a must for breakfast and dinner. Menu items were Outstanding, staff were excellent.

Second time here- we’d keep coming back! The rooms are clean, property is hugely expansive and well kept. We love to quiet spa grotto- best spot!! Staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. Highly recommended!

The location of this resort was incredible! The rooms are spacious, and it seemed that every room had a great view. We had an issue with the noise in our first room, as it faced the main pool and there was a DJ. The staff moved us quickly. The breakfast was great, although service was VERY slow, and on our last day, rather than ordering off the menu as we had wanted to, we had to grab the buffet. We had finished eating a few trips to the buffet before staff asked what we wanted to drink. The previous days were great, though.
