Stunning Oasis vibe

Celebrated 15 year anniversary here~ This was our first trip to Cabo. Had done a few other Mexico locations but had read amazing reviews about Cabo and wanted a new experience. And WOW did Marquis deliver!! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such amazing service and hospitality. We were lucky to have been offered an upgrade to a casita with plunge pool, but wanted to view one before making our decision. Hector was gracious and took the time to meet our request. 1st night we stayed in an oceanfront room with double beds (which we booked thru Expedia) but then decided to upgrade and got an INCREDIBLE oceanfront casita with plunge pool pool on the 2nd floor by the sunset pool (room 812). We are so glad we upgraded and the room was perfect! So massive and the quality stunning. To be able to be close to everything and still feel like a private oasis! Started the days with coffee on the balcony or vista with bird watching and whale watching, then would go down and grab pool chairs and head to breakfast. There were plenty of available seating so the rush at sunrise wasn’t necessary, IMO. There was lots of chatter about the food quality that I had read many reviews about and we were pleasantly surprised and thought there were plenty of options and good food. Recommend the Canto Del Mar! Do the upgrade and enjoy a fantastic 8 course meal with wine pairings. We did this our last night and was a special treat!! The pool service was fantastic! We had brought tumblers and that was an excellent way to keep drinks flowing and service great. TIP THE STAFF!! They really do work hard and should be rewarded:) The nightly entertainment was fun and plentiful. We were lucky enough to be there for whale season and it was breathtaking! To be on your balcony or in the infinity pools and see whales breaching was just amazing! We felt the resort was perfectly sized and had a lot of options without having to walk a ton or worry about overcrowding. We liked that there wasn’t a swim up bar and felt it unnecessary. The vibe was perfect and wasn’t a “party resort “. They focus more on a boutique vibe with great service. Although this was our 1st time at the Marquis, it won’t be our last! I see why folks keep coming back. :) Cheers!

Beautiful resort. We stayed in an ocean view casita and it was beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice.
