The biggest advantage of staying at the Comfort Suites is the location. Being steps away from Atlantis and having access to the Atlantis day passes makes it a very attractive and convenient option when planning a trip to Paradise Island. Unfortunately, the experience inside the hotel didn’t live up to expectations. The rooms are very outdated and poorly maintained. Our room had broken fixtures, worn and dilapidated furniture, and overall felt unclean. Several areas of the hotel also showed signs of damage, including doors that appeared to have been forced open and never properly repaired. My husband and sister both cut their fingers on the door openings from the damage. Service was another major disappointment. The staff often seemed unmotivated and uninterested in helping guests. Instead of trying to solve problems or accommodate simple requests, we frequently received explanations about why things couldn’t be done. For example, when we asked for plates so we could heat food in our room from the kitchen area, we were told they could not provide any. Small requests that should have been simple felt unnecessarily difficult. Also asking to heat our food was not possible. The amenities were also underwhelming. The pool is quite small, and the breakfast selection was inconsistent, with certain items only appearing every couple of days. With small kids and being not picky eaters it was adequate and a nice amenity since we weren’t staying at an all inclusive like we normally do for our March breaks. The hallways are confusing and there is little direction. One of the most concerning issues was the pull-out couch mattress our daughter slept on, which had visible mold underneath when we checked it. Overall, while the Atlantis access and location are definite perks, the condition of the rooms, lack of maintenance, and poor service made the stay disappointing. With some serious improvements to cleanliness, upkeep, and guest service, this property could be a much better experience. Our driver Perez was awesome throughout the week, and we LOVED to enjoy the Atlantis grounds every day of our trip. We didn’t expect luxury but simple hotel amenities in such an advance and Americanized area are expected…

Pros: The check-in process was efficient, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. Its location is excellent, making it convenient for our needs. The pool was inviting, and the restaurant provided enjoyable dining with quality food. The staff demonstrated friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast buffet and free access to Atlantis were valuable perks. Cons: The hallways had a persistent musty odor, and the water pressure in the rooms was consistently poor. On three occasions, the water stopped entirely while I was showering, requiring a five-minute wait for service to resume. One morning, there was no water available to shower or brush our teeth before departing for a scheduled excursion. Although I contacted the front desk, they merely apologized and did not offer an alternative solution, such as access to another room for showering. Fortunately, we had bottled water to brush our teeth. Upon checkout, I requested to speak with a manager and received a $100 credit as compensation; however, I felt this amount did not fully address the inconvenience experienced.
Great experience, would definitely come back!

We had a great experience at this hotel! Our room was very spacious, clean and quiet despite that it faced the road heading toward the main entrance. Beds were comfortable and allowed for a good quality of sleep. Service from the staff was attentive and breakfast, though limited, was always hot and of consistent quality. The location is second to none, steps away from Atlantis and the marina, putting a ton of shops, restaurants and services at our fingertips. The only issue we had during our stay was with the water pressure of the shower, it was very weak and in some settings it would come down to a trickle. Conversely, water pressure from the tub faucet was good, so I think there might have been an issue with the shower head. I'd also recommend that the hotel considers a door wedge to keep the door open at Crusoe's during breakfast rush. The door is self closing and people who were carrying their food to the outside tables had to juggle in order to open the door for themselves, or hope that someone would come by to hold the door for them. This would be an easy improvement that would enhance the experience during breakfast Aside from that, all positives during our visit and I'd definitely come back and recommend to others!
