The person I talked to in the lobby was great. His name was Don. He was very respectful and easy to talk. He was awesome and is what service is all about.

Nice resort, modern vs atlantis, but service and quality .. lacks heavy. -wife ordered malibu + panpple for half the trip, every server said no problem, to only find out half way through there is NO malibu rum on the resort.. so they are selling a lie. goodjob.. -made a reservation for multiple cabanas and chairs, PAID and had proof of payment. to only tell me error was on my side, booking wasnt found... -ordered express laundry service day before leaving, was told if given by 2pm would be delivered by 7pm. they deliver the laundry 11AM NEXT DAY when im checking out 11am... pathetic -new years eve dinner at cinko. server drops balsamic on my wifes $2000 dress. was told manager would call us within 24 hours, 7 days later NO CALL. disputed the laundry service and cinko at checkout, checkout person told me someone would call within 48 hours for resolution. NO call, and its a week later. quality of service extremely lacks here.. and you guys need to do a better job. atlantis might be an older resort, but service is much better there.

Disappointing and Overpriced Resort

Hyatt Baha Mar was a major disappointment and does not live up to its “luxury” reputation. Customer service was consistently poor and unresponsive, with no empathy, no follow-up, and no effort to help in multiple situations. The overall attitude felt dismissive and careless. While the food is not terrible, it is wildly overpriced and absolutely not worth what you pay. The same applies to the spa services, which were disorganized and unresponsive. This resort charges premium prices but fails to deliver premium service. The experience simply does not justify the cost, and we would not return or recommend it.
