I have stayed at Grand Hyatt properties all over the world, and sadly this is my least favorite one. We stayed in the Reserve and had a suite, upon entering and starting to unpack, I opened the door to the clothes cabinet and the door fell off. To make coffee using the coffee machine I had to pull the entire unit out so I could open the water container lid to add water, as the unit had a shelf directly above preventing adding a coffee pod or adding water. Wow it's hard to believe this was designed as such! In my opinion the overall fit and finish of the room was poor, compared to other properties I have stayed at. I think the grounds were beautiful and overall, the service was good and sometimes excellent. I think there was lots to do and lots of places to eat. I agree with others that the pricing seems exorbitant. I don't think I would return given the items I detailed above.

Fantastic staff, restaurants and facilities. My first visit to the Bahamas and I will definitely return and stay at the Grand Hyatt. Everything was perfect.

The resort is large and beautiful. Miguel, the Bellman, made checking in a breeze and reliving my bags. Very attentive, very knowledgeable and amazing at his job. From limited interaction with the resort staff, my interaction with him was above superior. Give the man a rise or I’ll hire him!

The resort is beautiful but April is not the best time to go for us. The cooler temperatures and very windy conditions had the water cooler than we like and we could not enjoy the beach this time around.
