Spent the week of Dec12th to Dec19th here and had a great time. The resort is compact and not difficult to navigate. We enjoyed the beach every day and afternoons by the quiet pool. The bar service was excellent and we enjoyed interacting with so many of the friendly staff. Our room(1624) was cleaned and restocked every day. All of the restaurants had very nice menus and we did eat at Butches and La Plume ..both very yummy. We did enjoy the buffet at Kanoo in the morning and some noon meals. Do make sure you have pizza a few times as it was delicious! The Club lounge very helpful in supplying a courtesy room prior to our departure at 5:30. There were a few windy days and one cooler day but we enjoyed even those days. We did not get to the island but heard many positive things about the experience. Definately would return again.

We will never come back to this resort. The staff was rude, and our room was musty. The lady in the photoshop yelled at me (literally) when I took a picture of the picture as I was trying to narrow down which one I wanted. Rather than greeting me when I entered and explaining the process, she yelled at me and charged me for photos I didn't even get. I was supposed to get a free one as a loyalty member. Sandals made it right by apologizing to me and providing me with my pic, but I spent 30 min. having to prove myself to them and even had to pull up my recently deleted photos. There was busted glass on the beach and the workers were annoyed that we asked if someone could clean it up before someone got hurt. We even offered to do it ourselves and ended up doing just that. Service was terrible. We actually decided as a group of 8 that we would never return to a Sandals resort.

Wonderful Stay at Sandals Royal Bahamian - We'll Be Back! We just returned from a fantastic week at Sandals Royal Bahamian (December 12-19, 2025) and had an overall excellent experience in the Island Village One Bedroom Butler Villa Suite with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub. It's a luxurious setup with plenty of space, a terrific patio, and we loved the little touches like the Heineken beer stocked in the fridge upon arrival. There were some minor hiccups with arrival crowds and some tech quirks, but nothing that detracted from the relaxation and fun. Our Air Canada flight from Halifax was a bit delayed due to de-icing, so we landed in Nassau later than expected, around 10 PM. At immigration, I was relieved to learn we didn't need the exempt app; just a quick paper form to fill out and sign, which took only a few minutes. The whole process was about 30 minutes. By the time we reached the Sandals desk in the airport lounge, the staff seemed a tad overwhelmed handling 24 of us from the flight – this was only the second week of that direct route, so I get it. No big deal, though. Check-in at the resort was similarly busy with everyone arriving at once, but the front desk handled it professionally, and we were all just thrilled to be there. We were escorted to our villa, luggage delivered promptly, and we grabbed a late-night bite at the Queen's Pearl Pub before crashing – solid pub grub to end the day. The next morning, we met our wonderful butlers, Darren and Cece, who truly elevated our stay with their attentiveness and warmth. They provided us with a cell phone for easy contact, though it's an older Samsung model that doesn't hold a charge well – next time, we'll bring our own charging cable just in case. We spent most of our time lounging at the East Bay pool (the quiet one), which was perfect for unwinding. We hit the beach once but skipped the private island this trip. For meals, we enjoyed most of the restaurants – highlights included the T-bone steak at Butch's (absolutely delicious) and my wife's beef tenderloin with shrimp. Lunch at the pizza spot was my favorite; highly recommend it, and they're super accommodating if you want to tweak toppings. Breakfasts were mostly room service – fresh coffees and pastries delivered right to our door. By day four, we'd hit the food wall and couldn't eat another a whole lot more, but that's a testament to how indulgent everything is! We treated ourselves to a couples massage, which was incredibly relaxing, and my wife got a manicure and facial at the spa – she was so impressed she's already talking about a girls' trip with her mom and sister. On our last day, with a late 9:30 PM flight and 11 AM checkout, Darren pulled some strings to get us a complimentary room for the afternoon (pickup was at 5:45 PM) – such a thoughtful gesture. The Nassau airport on departure was smooth and not overly crowded. All in all, we're thrilled with Sandals Royal Bahamian and definitely plan to return. The butlers, amenities, and vibe made it special – highly recommend for a romantic getaway!

The hotel is absolutely world class. Our island village room is excellent with a lovely secluded balcony. We would like to thank Michelle of beach services who is so very kind. Her customer service skills are second to none. Michelle went above and beyond to meet our needs, nothing was too much trouble. Michelle epitomises the sandals brand in every way. Stayed with my wife for 5 days. The staff are excellent and what really makes this resort shine. Patricia was a real help in housekeeping- really all of the staff went above and beyond. They really made our vacation more relaxing. Great food! Great service. The private island was wonderful and only a short ride away. We really had a nice time.
