Absolutely loved my stay here! Took my 3 year old for his first International trip and he LOVED it. I love how there were activities available for all ages.

Our family had a wonderful once in a lifetime vacation here that we saved a long time for. We chose Beaches to take our adult sons (18&21) because we are Sandals members. We ended up spending a lot more than we planned because we found that the water sports staff were moody and not very accommodating. It took us a few days to figure out that water sports are on a schedule. I know staff deal with a lot of drunk people, inexperienced children, etc. But compared to Dunn’s River Sandals, we were greatly disappointed and ended up spending a lot of money booking outside vendors for water sports. Our Firesky villa had a leak the second day we were there. Housekeeping found it and put a towel in the floor and moved the couch forward. For us to come in and discover the poor towel soaked in a huge puddle and maintenance hadn’t been notified. It was a lot of back and forth for a few days. Took about 4 days to solve leak issue. Our butlers and the rest of the staff were amazing. The location gorgeous. Food good. The kids areas were tons of fun while the adults areas were depressing. The staff that work the kids areas are amazing. So our adult family of 4 spent most our time in the kids areas. Those bartenders were friendlier and the vibe was just way better. If you have a family with younger kids, this place is awesome. The staff that work the kids entertainment, pools, slides and etc were wonderful. I feel like if they spent more time looking at our booking info and ages they could have better accommodated us. We booked the biggest most expensive room, and were pleasantly surprised with gifts. Unfortunately most of them were of no use to us. For example an adult float or 2 would have been useful vs the little kids floats left for us. We made the most of everything and enjoyed ourselves, it was not what I expected at all. Had it not been for butler Neiko (who was an absolute blessing) the leak may have never been fixed. It has the potential to be perfect for everyone. Be warned that booking activities with island routes may require a minimum of 4 people. I have multiple sclerosis & wanted a day to relax while my 3 guys went out and did adrenaline filled activities that I am unable to do. Island routes booking at the resort didn’t bother with explaining the 4 person minimum to my husband and when we saw the charge come through for the experience booked, felt misled because he had been told a different amount. We paid for an empty spot. The experience itself was amazing

Been here multiple times.. and this trip by far was the worst of them all. Arrived to Montego Bay to find out that Beaches didn't have us set up for a hotel transfer. We were advised to just get on the bus and they would take care of us at the hotel. Arrive to Beaches to only find out that they didnt even have us set up at all for a room. We were then taken to our room, to only find out that it wasnt the one we booked, nor the location of the resort we booked. Went to the front desk to ask about the room we originally booked. The front desk staff advised me that they didnt have any of the rooms available that I booked, and I had to stay in the one they gave me and to check back in the morning. Now, I had also requested to be on the first floor, and was put on the 3rd floor. So the next morning I went back to the front desk to ask again about changing rooms to what I had booked, to only have the gal act like she was doing something, but all she was doing was talking with her coworkers and not looking at the computer to see what was available. She then again told me that there was nothing she could do, but would call to let me know if she could change things around. Frustrating.. After walking around, the resort was empty. When I say empty, there was maybe 15 people on the beach. A few in the pool. But like I said, I have been here multiple times and know when they are busy. Tried checking again, and was disregard again. So frustrating and tried to relax as we were on vacation. But this is a little annoying. Now our room, the TV volume would go on and off, and then it was so delayed with sound, that whatever you were trying to watch was horrible. Now the entertainment staff here... they are amazing.. Delly and Dershea greatest energy people. Service staff was amazing(five stars) with one exception. Had one bad night that we ordered from the BBQ pit. We were the only people there, ordered and then some of the staff showed up about 10 minutes later and ordered. They were served before us, fine, but our food took another 20 minutes after that. For a hamburger and chicken that was already cooked.. just a tad too long.. There is a welcome back reception for returning guests that we were not told about either. Found out from another guests in the pool. So went and asked about that and was told that was a mistake on their part. Well, another mistake on their part was the free photo we were supposed to get as well. We had did our photoshoot, went to look at pics the next day and tried to get our free Pic. Only to be told that we should have received a coupon for that as well in our packet. Nothing there. Talk to staff and they said they would take it over to the photoshop and we could get the photo later. Yeah, that never happened either. They tried to get us to book another stay there, but we are considering somewhere else that will actually give us what we paid for..

This was our 4th trip to Negril. Everything there was great. Our butlers Chafae and Royland were the best. We never got hungry. Kasu and Leo from the gift shop were great, they remembered me from my trip last year, which made me feel like family. Rayon who worked the Lazy River was great also. I was afraid to get into the tube, but he help me through it. It as so much fun I went around twice. Garth at the Kayaking location also was great, I had never been Kayaking before. He gave me some pointers before I went out. Might I say that every one on that resort were friendly people. Its like they are there to please everyone who comes to the resort.

Resort is a dream. So much fun for the kids, but also relaxing for the adults. We loved it here and booked a few return trips for the next two years. Special shout to Anita at the beach bar, her Green Gauge specialty drink is.. AMAZING.
