What can I say about Sunset at the Palms that hasn't already been said in other reviews? This place is PERFECT for anyone looking for a quiet, calm, beautiful and friendly experience! My wife and I celebrated her birthday there recently and could not have had a better time. The staff was outstanding, with special mention for Tameka, who my wife became fast friends with and who made her birthday the most special day anyone could have imagined! The whole staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay and felt welcome, it was almost like staying with family! Paul, the Paino Man, in the Martini Bar was another highlight and hope he's still there the next time we come...and we will be back! I have never vacationed at the same resort twice, but Sunset at the Palms will be the exception. My wife and I are already planning our next trip. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, for lots of dining options and entertainment options, this is not the place for you! If you want to relax, enjoy good food, great people and truly special vibes, visit Sunset at the Palms, you won't be disappointed!
Treated unfairly

Arrived at the resort the morning after we were supposed to check in. Our rooms were not ready. Took about an hour to get into our rooms. When we did get the keys, our concierge said we we were getting an upgrade because our rooms were not ready. They only upgraded our friends but not us. My wife and I booked the resort and paid for the reservations using our timeshare points. Our friends went for free except for the all inclusive fee. I brought this up to management. Their response was we’re sorry for the mixup but there was no other room to upgrade to. They said that if something came open they would let us know. Never heard a thing. Because of this, we won’t be returning. Rooms are old and are in need of repair. A lot of noise from the street which is very busy. There’s little airport right next to the resort. Planes fly right over the top. Bartenders at the beach were very unfriendly. Probably doesn’t deserve 3 stars.
