Marriott Titanium member for many years and have mixed experiences with this property in the past. I was so happy that my Nightly upgrade award cleared me into a Premier corner room with a view of Times Square on the top floor. I was even more happy by the incredible welcome from Charlie at the Front Desk, who helped get me a 4pm check out. He explained the destination fee and how it allowed me a $40 credit, and I loved my stay right up to check out. I ate breakfast at the M club, and lunch at Revel & Rye and all was excellent. When it came time to check out, I tried to check out using the Marriott Bonvoy app and had no check out option so I went to the Elite line at the Front Desk where I encountered a Front Desk agent Lily. There was nobody else in line so it wasn't busy, and she asked me in a very nasty tone why I checked out so late and I told her I was approved for a late check out. I handed her my keys and she said a bill would be emailed and I asked her what the amount was and she was rude and said "I said it would be emailed" and the finally told me the total. When I asked her a question she got even ruder and condescending. When I was done with her, she handed me the keys back and said "drop these in the box over there I don't want them". Lily was the single factor that completely ruined a perfect stay, garnered a negative review and escalations, and the reason I will recommend everybody stay away from this property.

The hotel was near my meetings and staff were so helpful throughout the hotel! Don’t miss The View and the $40 credit offered to guests. Very reasonably priced for size of room and convenience.
