Convenient location with great views

Relax63337580412 on Jul 12, 2025

The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was also a good size with plenty of counter space. We were on the top floor so noise was not an issue at all. The elevators were very quick (the lobby is on the 8th floor). Only major negative was the mandatory $40 a day to be spent at restaurants in the hotel.

Ok stay

Sanfoora S (San Diego, California) on Jul 10, 2025

We had a decent experience overall, but given the price point — a little over $1,100 per night for an ensuite — the hotel fell short in several key areas. Our room was not as clean as expected — the floors were dirty, and we found bugs on the curtains (I have photos and am happy to share). I contacted the front desk to request a room change, but no one followed up or took any action. The fire sprinkler above the bed was also covered in a thick layer of dust, which was unsettling to look at while lying down. Each time I tried to reach the front desk, the wait time was consistently 7–10 minutes. The bathroom included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with hand soap and lotion. However, there was no other toiletry kit or extras you’d expect at this price point. We requested additional towels, which housekeeping provided promptly (and they were very courteous — don’t forget to tip). The coffee machine area was very cramped, with plastic coffee pods and no nearby power outlet. I had to move the machine around the room just to plug it in, which felt inconvenient for a suite of this level. Room service was also underwhelming — it arrived in a paper bag every time, exactly like takeout, without trays or standard hotel presentation. For a luxury suite, this felt more like a casual delivery than in-room dining. You’re also charged a $40 daily fee during your stay, which can be used toward premium Wi-Fi or hotel dining. The restaurant menus are available online, which is convenient, but still doesn’t justify the fee unless you plan to use it. The room’s table had a cracked base, and overall, there were several signs of lack of maintenance throughout the suite. On the positive side, the AC system worked well, and the views were beautiful. Breakfast at the M Lounge was decent, though most of the food included pork, leaving limited options for us. Still, it was a good spot to grab coffee and a quick bite. Upon arrival, the bellman downstairs made it clear he expected a separate tip from the person who would take our bags upstairs, which caused an awkward delay of about 10 minutes just to get luggage tags. All in all, while there were some positive aspects, the experience did not match the premium price tag. For future visits, I would likely consider staying elsewhere.
