Visited New York for the theater and US Open. Our stay at the Marriott this trip was outstanding (I can't say that often). We weren't aware but this is a vacation club property. We have status with Marriott, but don't always get this treatment. We were upgraded to a 1 room suite on the 24th floor. The suite only had 1 bathroom with 1 sink, the only disappointment. The M club (which they renovated since our last stay was very nice) breakfast is a full course meal, we weren't around for lunch and only around 1 night for apps (which weren't great) but enjoyed all the snacks, drinks and coffee station. The gym was 24 hours and clean. It's located well with a lot of activity and near train stations, always a cab and access to Uber or a driver. We loved the staff from the front desk to the M club. Service is hard but all made us welcome and they were helpful. We will definitely be back.
Great Location and Service

Traveled with another couple to celebrate a 50th birthday. We both had rooms on the 32nd floor with floor to ceiling views of Times Square. From one of the rooms, we could even see the Statue of Liberty in the distance. Despite being directly over Times Square, noise was minimal. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly on check-in and every other time we stopped by with a question. Location was perfect for our long weekend where we squeezed in 4 Broadway shows! We had drinks one night at The Perch - how fun to enjoy drinks with friends outdoors 8 floors above Broadway with bubbles floating around and overhead! We also had dinner at the Broadway Lounge one night between shows and service was fast and friendly. Housekeeping was also top notch and very accommodating to our comings and goings and when we would prefer service. The New York Marriott Marquis made this a very memorable 50th birthday celebration! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in the theater district or near attractions around Times Square.
