We just returned from a two night stay at The Anaheim Hotel, and overall, we really liked it! We will stay again for sure! The Good- We arrived around 2:00 and were happy to see that our room was ready. Check in was quick and the staff was friendly. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, with various sitting areas and yard games. The pool was huge, and they had pool side beverage service, which is an added bonus. Our room was small, but nicely decorated. Minus some stains on the carpet, the room was clean. We were able to get a late check out for a small fee, which was really nice. Having an on site bar and pizza place was awesome! The best thing about this place is the proximity to the parks. A super quick and easy walk. The Bad- Our room had a constant and odd smell. Sort of a musty, smoky, pot smell. The bathroom was tiny, which was fine, but it was really beat up. Chipped paint, and the sink and counter were full of chips/marks and stains. The shower was very slow to drain, and the conditioner and body wash dispensers were empty. On the first night, my husband went to the bar to order a drink, which was a glass Scotch. We were taken aback by the cost, but chalked it up to resort/California pricing. The next night, he ordered the same thing, and it was several dollars less than the previous night. My husband brought it to the bartenders attention, and he said it sounds like you were charged for a premium spirit by mistake, and just said “sorry about that” It was late, and my husband was tired, so he didn’t pursue it further.

I had a change in my plans and they were so accommodating. The manager, Candy, really helped me out. I would recommend this hotel based on the customer service I received. I definitely plan to book with them again in the future. Thank you for being so accommodating.

Love this hotel not my first time staying and it has never disappointed!! The rooms are great with comfortable beds! The lobby and gift shop is great! Had a question about the scent in the lobby it is one of my favorite scents so I was wondering what is it called and where do you get it?

Perfect hotel for visiting Disneyland. A very short walk that allowed us to hit rope drop every morning and take breaks every afternoon where we were always surprised how quickly we were back in the park. At the end of the day hitting harbor blvd bad looking over and seeing the hotel so close gives the borer of energy to get home. We stayed in a two king bed room that felt large and comfortable. The rooms have a large double sink area outside the shower/toilet room that make it perfect for a family getting ready in the morning. No issue with room smells or noise. The mid century modern vibe and tropical feel of the hotel are quite relaxing. We enjoyed Pizza Press several times on our trip and loved the pizza. Only negative is that website advertises a late 3 pm checkout but it wasn’t available day we checked out due to a large group checking in. Also they charge extra for keeping car parked after checkout time.

The Anaheim Hotel is located in a fantastic spot right near Disneyland, making it convenient for travelers. After reading reviews, I was excited to stay at the hotel. However, it could do with a makeover. The room, although very spacious, which was great, was dated, and the bathroom smelled of mold every time we showered or walked back into the room after being gone. Thankfully, we had a travel-size Lysol spray, which helped (how sad!). Our friend, who stayed in a different room, experienced the same issues we had. In addition, the parking rate that is shared in the confirmation and welcome e-mails is much lower than what they charge you there. Be sure to double check you are getting the quoted rate. The front desk employee thankfully honored the rate that was sent via e-mail. If you are wanting to stay at a hotel in a great location, it is the place to stay; just know the rooms are average at best. However, if the hotel would make a few updates, it would make a huge difference.
