Second visit here, kids love it. Brilliant for adults too.. Elijah behind the red rooster bar next to the arcade was super friendly introduced me to Yuengling beer and was great to chat with. What a guy to have working for you. The water park is brilliant for the two kids and adults too. Thanks so much
Family of 4 two week stay

So glad we stayed here on International Drive for two weeks. The hotel rooms are basic and if possible pay more for the tower as the rooms are bigger for a family of 4 and you feel like you’re actually in a hotel. Aircon worked in the rooms and water in the gym and ice machines dotted about. It is busier at weekends as local family’s visit the water park for the day, but tbh my two 12 & 10 were bored of the water park after two days and visiting bigger water parks, this was more suited to younger kids. Discounts included the restaurant for breakfast where you get 20% off if you stay at the hotel, also 10% off the Starbucks and discount from the shop too. We also used the free itrolley passes offered from the hotel to take us out in the evening or to the shopping outlets. We never used the free transport to universal as Uber taxis were so convenient and frequent. Lots of restaurants along the main rd, steak houses, Japanese, pizza, Italians and the usual McDonalds, Burger King, Denny’s, ihop etc too. Plenty to chose from and all within walking distance or on the itrolley instead. I’m so glad we never got a villa and a car as the hotel was just a perfect location and after doing all the Disney parks, universal, sea world, discovery cove, Busch gardens and Aquatica it was fab. Plus the roads are really busy with traffic and driving seemed a pain. I would however like to say the gym equipment could be checked to ensure it is working, but the hotel met my needs.
Better than I thought

Hotel is nice good location on international drive. Water park is good, few minor issue we did have with the room were sorted super quick. Staff are very friendly and helpful especially Erik who works as a greeter at the main entrance always friendly and helpful.
Nice friendly hotel ideally located with its own waterpark

Make no mistake, this is a basic, budget hotel and some may see the "dated" bathroom and lack of place to hang clothes as a downside. However, the beds are extemely comfortable, the staff are very helpful (big shout out to Mo in reception, who in a single act of kindness made our holiday!) and friendly (Sandra always had a smile and a cheery greeting at breakfast) and it has its own waterpark. Okay it is not Volcano Bay, (which can be seen from the hotel) but it has several exciting slides that will keep young and old amused on days between theme parks. I particularly enjoyed the boomerang slide and my teenage son told me the body slide was fun to go down. The waterpark is open to the public, but as hotel guests we had free access. There is also a guest only pool area, which was always well used. Breakfast was a standard buffet and at an additional cost, but there was sufficient there to fuel you for the day. In the evening, pizzas, burgers and chicken strips (tenders) are available at a reasonable price (made even more reasonable with a resident's discount card) but there are also restaurants and fast-food joints within walking distance. The hotel has its own laundry, a Starbucks and a shop selling food, drinks and theme park related merchandise. There are a couple of bars an arcade and Disney films were shown in the bar and grill area. Housekeeping changgd the bedding and towels every day with a full clean every 4 days. This hotel is well located on International Drive and has a shuttle service to Universal studios, which you will need to book. When we stayed this had the added advantage of it appearing to be the first pick up so there was always a seat. There were 4 shuttles running at roughly 1 hour intervals from 7.30 onwards. Coming back is on a first come first served basis so be sure to arrive well before the pick up time. The hotel is a Universal partner hotel so you can pick up tickets etc from a guest relations desk situated in the lobby. There is also a shuttle to Disney running once per day from outside the hotel, but we didn't use this. The hotel also provided us with free iTrolley passes so short trips to Icon Park, Orlando Pointe and Funspot were easy. Overall, this is not a top-end luxury hotel but it is a great place to use as a base for trips to the theme parks and beyond with the added bonus of a waterpark to relax at on days off. If there are any downsides, it would be noisy air con systems (aren't they all!), a lack of lifts in the two storey blocks (not fatal but lugging luggage up and down can be tricky if you are on the first floor), but the pros do outweigh the cons in terms of location, staff and comfort. Oh and did I mention it has its own waterpark!
Ok for location

We recently returned from coco keys, I was really excited as it was my Honeymoon, The staff on reception were nice but didn't really give much information about the hotel , just we could use the water park , We had to wonder around ourselves find out what was on the site, On arrival to our room , I could smell a funny smell , Hubby said its not that bad , so I didn't mention it, The rooms are dated, that doesn't bother me, however , the it did have some faults, the shower head , alot of the holes were blocked and had alot of limescale on it. So was abit rubbish when rincieing your hair, The hair dryer sounded like it was about to explode the attachment was for a different hairdryer as it didn't fit. Also there is no where near enough storage and there was only two of us, there was room to put something else in there so don't know why they haven't got more storage in there, we had to live out of the suitcase as nowhere to hang my dresses , Also our room was very dark , even with every light on, couldnt open the blinds as they wouldnt open, On the occasions we fancied a pool day , which wasn't many we couldn't as there were no beds free , needs more sunbeds, and on the one day we could sit there, there was no parasol, definitely not enough parasols especially in that heat, No entertainment on an evening , so quite boring for people . We didn't need our room done to often but when did , the teas and coffee were not replenished, they knocked later to ask if room was cleaned ok, we said yes but could we have some more tea and coffee, still hadn't had any on our last day , Also we didn't know you got 20% discount at the grill , only found out when someone mentioned it and we over heard, It's an ok hotel if only a base for location and sleep, I personally wouldn't stay again .
