One of Disney World’s 3 Monorail Resorts

Taylor W (Orlando, Florida) on May 06, 2025

This is the Hawaiian/Polynesian themed Resort on the monorail at Walt Disney World They now have Moana themed rooms. They just opened a new DVC Tower that is super nice as well. The Wailulu Bar and Grill is super delicious. The smell of the lobby is also unique as well and would like a candle of that.

no umbrellas at the pool

R6108NXkeithr on May 05, 2025

We love this resort and have stayed at either the Polynesian or Grand Floridian for 8 years in a row. I would give it a perfect score, but there was one minor problem which caused a great deal of discomfort. I am 57 and cannot be exposed to sun damage like when I was young and always relax under an umbrella at pools. However, in 7 nights of staying there and all of the money we paid, we were never able to get a chair with an open umbrella. Even though all of the umbrellas were open with no one sitting under, they were all reserved with Towels and I am not one of those people who will get up early and take a spot for the entire day without using it. I like on my vacation to just find a shaded spot to enjoy their beautiful pool. However, there were none open any days. I am completely perplexed that when paying over $600/night that we cannot get an umbrella when lesser resorts have plenty of them. I know this is minor, but it will prevent me from staying here in the future, unless we can be assured that we will have one. We therefore could not enjoy the pool which was very sad.

Best Hotel on Property

Ami R (New York) on Apr 30, 2025

This is the absolute best resort on property. I love when I can swing it to stay here. I highly recommend the water/pool view! The staff is super nice and the place is very clean. They have amazing food. I wouldn't recommend the chicken Caesar salad but get the shrimp Caesar salad instead. Great place!

Brilliant Disney property

andrew h (Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom) on Apr 24, 2025

The club level room are so nice. Recently refurbished, the staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. The room was spacious and well appointed. The pool at Beth hotel was great, and really convinient for all travel arrangements to the parks. Great views for the fireworks. A great hotel

Pros, curiosities, and a caution

dg2014jg (Magnolia, Texas) on Apr 16, 2025

Pros: The public spaces and rooms are extremely clean with such friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable staff. The room interiors are, of course, unique but also spacious. The food anywhere tastes very good. A big thank you for provisions for food allergy issues. Curiosities. A thousand dollar a night room does come with some expectations. I just couldn’t understand why housekeeping could not open the fresh trash liner and put them in the trash cans. I didn’t understand why there were no bathrobes. I grew tired of the dependence on my mobile phone for ordering food and opening my room door. I felt like I had to beg for straws and cup lids; although, the paper straws were adequate, but no one even offered me either one. Caution: The first day is a major adjustment. For us it was just finding food and using the mobile app. Yes, there were places available, but the wait time, the extremely crowded areas, and using the mobile phone to order is just not part of our daily routine. Additionally, all the food items available did not seem to be listed on the mobile phone.
