DVC perks are not good enough anymore!
Vicki F (Dillsburg, Pennsylvania) on May 02, 2026
We are DVC members for 26 years and you’d think we would have been assigned a room with a view of the lake/magic kingdom. But NO - we are in a room with no view except of trees. It’s very discouraging to read about the pixie dust people get and in 26 years we’ve never been upgraded or anything. Close to it. The deluxe studio is nice and roomy. The shower is fabulous, the amenities in the small kitchen/sink area are very good. The refrigerator/ freezer are just the right size. I would like to see DVC offer people who have owned more than 25 years some kind of diamond club perks. It’s also ridiculous that DVC membe4s don’t get valet parking for free either anymore. It was a simple perk that was taken from us. The self parking at this resort is ridiculous as well. They need to build a parking garage with covered walkways to the resort. Except for the bad room it was a nice stay.
Come here to relax!

Room not ready for over an hour after check in
Leslie D (Whitman, Massachusetts) on Apr 20, 2026
I’d love to be able to give this hotel a great review but we haven’t been able to check in yet. It’s now 4:22pm and check-in should have been at 3pm. However, we’re still hanging out in the lobby where my daughter is asleep on a couch. Why? Our room isn’t ready. We’re told “they’re just finishing up.” They told us that half an hour ago. This is unacceptable.
You can do better.

After leaving for a Disney park in the early morning we returned to an uncleaned room at 3:45. I was told that they hadn't gotten to our room yet but planned to do so before 6PM . Really? After a long day in the Orlando heat you get back to your room in the latter half of the afternoon and you're told you'll need to leave it again within the next 1-2 hours so they can clean it? This is what paying almost $1,000 a day gets you?? Never staying inside the park again. What kind of Mickey Mouse operation is this?
