Economy pricing and just fine
Scubarich99 (Rancho Cucamonga, California) on May 05, 2026
The room was very small but just fine for two adults. Comfy queen bed. Bathroom had everything you need. Small fridge (no freezer) to keep drinks/snacks. No microwave (or access to one as far as we could tell). TV had an open hdmi port and our plug in device worked great. Food court had a variety of meal options but quality and quantity left something to be desired. We used the pool by the baseball themed buildings it was just fine. Drinks in cans or plastic was acceptable. Towels provided at the pool but they were smaller than normal beach towels. Room service comes every other day. In room coffee (not K-cup style) was fine too but only had two cups. We hit up housekeeping for more cups. All in all it’s just fine. The room wasn’t designed to spend all day in (no sofa, easy chair etc) but it did have a small table and two chairs that folds up if you use the Murphy bed. Grounds were well maintained and very quiet. Room walls were pretty thin, you knew when your neighbor was home.
Best to explore

Front Desk/House Keeping Customer Service Seriously Lacking
698danib (Las Vegas, Nevada) on Apr 30, 2026
This is our 3rd time staying here for cheer competitions. The 1st two times, no issues. Customer service has dropped tremendously though. I was told our room would be cleaned the 2nd day of our visit. It was not. SO the 3rd day we made a request through the Mickey portal in the room. 3rd day we came back, and not cleaned. I went down to the front office and they were like yeah, we don't know what happened. No apology just we don't know what happened. 4th day, they came at 8 am to clean and we said we are still in here. The maid was so rude and said then you need to put your placard on the door so we know. But if you look at every other door at 8 am, there are ZERO placards on any other doors. Customer service at the front desk and with house keeping has really slipped. Very disappointing.
Disney resorts are great

We’ve visited Disney World four times previously, all before having children, and had stayed in Kissimmee and along International Drive. This time, we decided to experience a Disney hotel. As a value resort, our expectations were fairly modest, but the resort itself is great—plenty of space, large pools, an on-site food court, and buses to the theme parks right at your doorstep. The rooms have been recently refreshed, though they are quite compact. That said, as expected, you’re really just using the room to shower and sleep. The only downside was the fridge, which was quite small and didn’t stay very cold. You can easily walk to the other value resorts—All-Star Music is literally across the car park, and All-Star Movies is just beyond that. Since Sports is the most affordable of the three, I’d recommend staying here, as I didn’t notice any added benefits or upgrades at the others to justify a higher price. We really enjoyed our stay—clean, bright, with convenient food options and a pool to relax in after a big day. The only drawback is that if you want to explore beyond Disney, you’ll need a car or Uber. There is a McDonald’s about a 10-minute walk away. If your anything like me, when the rest of the family are resting jump on the Disney bus to Disney Springs, then head out on boat to explore other resorts. Port Orleans for the Beignets are worth the trip.
