Just want to add to my review back in February. We have just booked again for next year and can’t wait to stay at coco key again. we couldn’t fault anything with the hotel and I am surprised with the negative reviews.
Dream stay in Lisbon

Our stay at the hotel was amazing. The service was excellent. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and with lots of extras. I was very excited to see that breakfast included some gluten free options and also omelets to die for. It was wonderful to get to taste some wonderful Portuguese pastries made for people like me. Pedro, the hotel hospitality coordinator, was exceptional. Not only does he take groups of hotel guests on a two hour tour of the Bexia area of Lisbon but he is full of information about the history and culture. He is always friendly and welcoming, full of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, and makes it easy for guests to meet other guests. I cannot wait for the chance to return to Lisbon and the hotel.

The front desk team members overall were good. Check in was memorable, and the MOD in the evening was amazing! He cared when an issue arised and directed me to the right place. The room was clean. The bartenders were top notch! My daughter did get hurt on the water slide. The manager of the waterpark was not genuine and very scripted. Her responses did not come from the heart, they came from a book (while she was nice…if that makes sense) Life guards handled the injury promptly. But there was no one at the top slide to prevent Littles from going down. Overall the stay was fine. Could have been better.
Coco Key was a onetime trip…..

The staff was great, but our room was not. We were in one of the non-renovated rooms and you can definitely tell the difference. One of the worst things about the stay was the loud music that made our room shake until midnight. It was for the pool party that was supposed to end by 10 pm. I called the front desk numerous times and they tried to be helpful but could not get the party to abide by the preset time. I will say the waterpark and staff were great.
You get what you pay for… but still overpriced for what this is

Will definitely not be coming back. There are much better options out there. The room is terrible and smelled of mold and wet dog. When I had a question about my charges I could not get a manager to talk to me or call me (they seemed to be in meetings if you asked to speak to one). I’m laying here in bed with music blasting from the main pool area and it is 11:31 pm. I keep trying to call the front desk/guest services and no one picks up. There are 3 slides but barely any floaties when they allow the day pass visitors in. There is not enough water park for daily pass visitors. There are no blackout curtains. It’s just a generally run down place. The staff at the pool and the general maintenance ones were nice and helpful enough. Front desk was not. Upon check in the guy told my husband he’s giving him an upgrade and a redone room. My husband tipped the guy $40 and we ended up with an old stinky room. Can’t wait to check out tomorrow. Don’t bother booking this place if you can find something else.
