Double tree Cathedral City has been a treat My family and I have been enjoying the hospitality and professionalism of every staff. I gotta shout out Jesse. He went beyond his standard duties to make my stay here amazing. Jesse was very warm hearted, an excellent listener and very detail oriented. My family and I feel very blessed. ?? Kevin heard my deep longing for a scenic view& got us the best room. He’s the best. Happy New year

Good but with some issues

kawidd (United States) on Jan 05, 2026

This is our 4th time here. I have always loved this hotel. The pros first: good location, great grounds, large rooms, large bathrooms and free parking. It is a very comfortable hotel. The pool area is good also. Cons: a little tired, carpets in the halls are worn and haven’t been vacuumed for many days, staff at the front desk varies, the restaurant for breakfast is a little pricy for $26 buffet. Still playing Christmas music on Jan 5 is ridiculous. Usually cookies are free any time any day but I was told somewhat rudely that they are only for check-in. Later I asked again and the nice desk clerk said “no problem”, so what is it. I will say this. It is a good hotel if you can get a good rate.

Not worth it.

Not a “resort” by any stretch of the imagination. The fact that they charge a resort fee is appalling. Front desk service is sketchy. Bartenders and breakfast team were great - pretty much the only reason we rated this a 3 instead of a 1. It was a really disappointing visit and I would not choose to return.

Indulge in Palm Springs

CNB15108 (Las Vegas, Nevada) on Nov 11, 2025

We decided to take a quick trip and enjoy a couple of days in Palm Springs. Great trip overall and our first great decision was staying at this hotel. Although, due to a computer upgrade, our reservation was stuck in cyber land. Fernando and his manager were great about getting us in a room. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The hotel is away from downtown, enough to be quiet, but close enough to get there quickly. The grounds are nice and the pool is spectacular. Every employee was helpful and nice. But in a hotel full of stars, Fernando was the superstar! He always had a suggestion when we asked questions, helped with our requests and is generally a nice fellow. We highly recommend this hotel.... and don't forget the cookies!

AC Needs HELP

Kristi M on Sep 29, 2025

Checked in for one night as a Diamond Member and never again … Front desk staff was nice and I appreciated the complimentary upgrade they offered at check-in but the room itself was not good. The minute we walked in, we knew something was wrong so called down to the desk immediately as it was hot and stuffy and both thermostats said 63. Maintenance came up and while he was super nice, he couldn’t fix the issue. He said the temp is controlled by a central computer so even if your thermostat says 63, the max coolest air temp would be 68/69. He did offer a fan, which we accepted but after coming back from dinner at 10pm, it’s still not cool. Had I read the reviews about similar issues, I would have stayed somewhere else. Overall, just not a stay worthy of $200+ a night. Honestly, Home2Suites by Hilton, down the road is a better kept property, with good AC, and clean and often less than the rate here. Definitely don’t let rates fool you.
