Another GREAT men’s trip to La Quinta
stephenhM9754AW on Feb 07, 2025
I have been bringing a group of 25 to 30 gentlemen out to LaQuinta in Palm Desert for a Tennis / golf outing for the last six years. Kevin Connolly is the director of tennis and has been extremely helpful in getting me organizing for all of my Tennis clinics and other activities. He’s very organized and has always been easy to communicate with before, during and after the event. Natalia Moreno is the event coordinator and believe me, if this is one of your first events to do, she is a must. You might think you know everything that you need but believe me there’s always something you will forget and she has been very helpful for me in that area. And in regards to the golf. There are golf courses as far as you can see in Palm Springs area. So even though we have come for six years. The guys have gotten to play on different courses each trip and then the ones that they have really enjoyed playing on, they can play them again! One other note if you are bringing a group there is a lot of details and planning. With that said everything can be spoiled by bad weather. And one of the things that’s extremely important for me was that I would need good weather. And that is something to keep in mind. When you are in the desert the percentages of me having to deal with rain is slim and that’s very important as I do not want anything to interfere with all the work and money thatI had invested in the trip. I would highly recommend bringing a group out here to la Quinta. It has always been a fun trip for our guys and they always look forward to coming back!! Best Regards, Steve Hassenmiller
Amazing stay, even better tennis

The resort is incredible, but the tennis facilities are truly a dream come true! The stadium court is breathtaking, with newly surfaced courts and the stunning mountains as a perfect backdrop. For tennis enthusiasts, this place is an absolute must-visit. Whether you're playing or just soaking in the scenery, the experience is unforgettable. Don’t miss the chance to hit the courts if you’re a fan of the sport—you won’t regret it!
Christmas Holiday

Our family has been fortunate to spend Christmas week at La Quinta Resort for the past 12 years, and each visit has been nothing short of extraordinary. A significant part of what makes our experience so memorable is the outstanding tennis program led by Kevin Connolly and his dedicated staff. The tennis clinics and lessons are always exceptionally professional, well-organized, and enjoyable for players of all levels. Their expertise, enthusiasm, and attention to detail have made tennis a highlight of our stay year after year. I would highly recommend La Quinta Resort to anyone, especially tennis enthusiasts or families who love the sport. The combination of world-class tennis and the resort’s welcoming atmosphere ensures an unforgettable experience.
Best family tennis experience in desert

La Quinta is fortunate to have the most welcoming and professional staff at its tennis facility. The fact that we’ve been coming here for 15 years and have seen the same instructors almost the entire time shows you what a great place it is. Clearly, employees are respected and deliver a fantastic experience for the guests. Much of it starts with Kevin the tennis director who will make sure you have the best Tennis experience while visiting. We cannot give him and the program enough credit.
Bad service, dated hotel, great grounds
796willr on Jan 14, 2025
I’ve stayed here before and for a cheap basic room it was good. The grounds are great with a million pools and a fun classic hotel vibe. Rooms around smaller pools make it not feel as busy or big as it is. Unfortunately this place has terrible customer service and if it’s at all busy everything breaks down. They nickel and dime you every chance they get. And don’t even think about paying for a nicer room because honestly they’re not worth it and will just make you angry you’re wasting your money. The hotel was busy due to the fires in LA and upcoming pga tournament. Check in was rushed and was not informed of perks/benefits of my rate until I asked. I ended up splurging and upgrading and it was not worth it. Their renovated rooms have chrome bathroom fixtures instead of bronze and new TVs but as far as I could tell that’s it. Rotting wood doors, weird layouts, everything just kind of old and not in the charming way. Management did not care. They were curt and unhelpful and just want to nickel and dime their guests. Restaurants had a long wait and bad service. The breakfast is not good, the Mexican restaurant is ok food.
