Scottsdale visit

Embassy Suites is my go to when traveling and this resort in Scottsdale did not disappoint! Staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious and beds super comfortable! I wish I had called ahead to find out that one of the pools was under construction. But it was too hot to really care.

The Breakfast was great there were many options and cool to order eggs. The evening reception was fun too with a drink included. My room was cool and hotel staff was friendly. Super convenient for REI guided tour. This was a great place to start and end the trip.
Best Scottsdale Resort

Everything about this resort is excellent except for the room AC. The room never got below 75, even with the AC set to 60. The breakfast here is top notch - and free. Thid resort also had a great gym and location. I will be staying here when I am in Scottsdale next.

Quiet atmosphere and enjoyed late night pool/jacuzzi access. Evening reception was a bit disappointing. Snacks were not what I am use to from Hilton. Libations provided were more than expected but not really a drinker so one was more than enough for me.
Not Meeting Expectations

My wife & I have stayed at the Hilton Embassy Suites in Scottsdale approaching 10 times from the pre and post COVID pandemic. Unfortunately, our recent visit did NOT match our usual expectations of excellence . Upon arrival Saturday July 6 our assigned room 222 had an AC problem .. not good when temperature approaches 110 ! We were moved to room 223 which cooled somewhat but the thermostat reading still showed 73 upon our checking out Monday July 8 . We usually stay in the East complex, however it was not available due to several conference groups staying there . This brings up what I believe to be the root of the problem: Major renovation of your pool area in the West complex , limiting some room availability. Of course it’s great that Hilton is making property Improvements that “ may “ be complete in September. However , what about CURRENT guests ? Might they be compensated for some inconvenience? How about at least alerting guests during reservations as to possible issues during construction.? .. Or providing “promotions “ during that time ? Our inconvenience began when we arrived to faulty AC … during 110 temperatures! For us, ,this occurred after we left from 3 days at the BEAUTIFUL Crowne Plaza Resort in Chandler . Even the Embassy Suites ‘ Dish TV service had problems getting reception on live channels ! I hope that this Scottsdale property will soon again meet expected Hilton standards . Respectfully, Bob Gimigliano Tucson
