Great Experience at the Heathman...No bs, a really terrific boutique Hotel. It's all there, friendly fun service from all.
Terrific hotel right next to the Arlene Schnitzer performance theater

We came to Portland to attend a show at the Arlene Schnitzer Performing Arts Theater (the old Paramount theater) on Sept. 7th. The location was perfect. We just walked next door! The hotel is elegantly updated. The common room for guests off the lobby is a library, an inspired design idea given that Powell's Books is a destination in Portland. We easily walked a few blocks to beautiful Pioneer Square. Nordstroms Flagship store is right there. If asked to, I couldn't improve on anything at The Heathman. I would recommend it to others and stay here again in a heartbeat.

This hotel obviously has fallen from previous levels of greatness. It’s woefully understaffed, the in room service was abysmal and disgusting. They somehow messed up drip coffee and French toast? The Chantelle cream on the French toast was sour. For the price, I’d rather stay at the Sentinel where the service was at the level you’d expect a higher end hotel.

The staff and beautiful rooms are why we stay here everytime we fly in. Comfortable beds and amazing bath products too!
