Great place to forget your troubles...

Richard Y (Dallas, Texas) on Feb 16, 2024

Amazing staff and the rooms are so comfortable. I wanted to bring my bed back home with me. Great coffee bar for the morning, a cocktail lounge for after the day, and a really fun restaurant in the hotel you must try. The ladies at the coffee bar, were great to greet me and ask how I was doing, very one on one staff. I can't wait to book my next visit with them, I will be back :)

A Refuge

Kristen S on Jan 29, 2024

We lost our power during an ice storm and sought refuge. We never expected the wonderful experience we had beginning with Rafa, a real person who made booking a breeze. When other hotels took advantage of the storm and raised prices the Woodlark lowered them! The restaurant and bars stayed opened with full staff and great service, delicious food. They must have sold more French fries than ever before with so many kids ordering them while their parents enjoyed a perfectly mixed cocktail! Our room was clean and spacious. I loved the wall paper! The bathroom was fab! Modern and fresh and well appointed with wonderful high end potions and lotions. The coffee service in the morning included house baked pastries and is open to the public so I will be visiting whenever I am downtown. I forgot to mention: they have little kids stuffed animals! The vibe here is beautiful meets comfortable meets young and young at heart! And hip! Shout out to Rafa and Nate, too! To everyone!

Brigette is the Bomb!

Tricia S on Jan 24, 2024

My family of four checked into the Woodlark on Saturday, Jan 13th during the crazy winter storm. After losing power, a tree fell on our house directly above where we were sitting and we decided to head to the Woodlark Hotel. Brigette checked us in and was extremely empathic and helpful setting us up with room. The elevator was down at the time and she and everyone else were juggling a lot of people at once. We ended up staying 8 nights in a double queen at the Woodlark and got an adjoining room half way through our stay. I was concerned about costs and fees and Brigette worked to get us a great rate. We ate many meals at Bullard (excellent) and have amazing coffee at Good Coffee in the lobby. We felt very taken care of and understood while we were displaced from our home. In times like these, it is reassuring to know that there are people like Brigette who will go above and beyond the call of duty to treat people with graciousness, generosity and the upmost respect. I felt like she had my back the entire stay and I am forever grateful. The world could use more people like Brigette at the Woodlark Hotel.

Worth a visit!

Laura E on Jan 19, 2024

The woodlark is a beautiful hotel with a great staff. We had never stayed somewhere so fancy before! Brandon and Brigette were great at welcoming us, teaching us how the heck to use a valet system, and recommended a great place for dinner!

Portland is back baby!

Todd W on Jan 18, 2024

The Woodlark is such a great place right in downtown Portland. Unlike other downtown Portland areas, the Woodlark is located in an area less affected by the not so nice aspects of Portland. Lots of restaurants in walking distance as well as a couple options on site. Nathan did a great job of pointing me in the right direction for Portland activities and creating my reservation last minute. Thank you Nate and the entire team at Woodlark.
