Clean rooms, good food and the best animation team in the world Bonbon and the gang at the pool were kind, attentive and fun! We had a great time including an epic volleyball match in the pool! An extra mention of all the staff including restaurant and cleaning staff, always smiling and patient with our limited Spanish A great first all inclusive experience, we would definitely come back Thanks again Bonbon, you made our week extra fun with your enthusiasm!

General Impression: • In general, the resort was very nice. From the time we arrived until the time we left; the staff was great. There were many great things and a few items that need improvement. We appreciate the care and attention that was given to us by the staff. The General Manager introduced himself the first night when we were at dinner, and he was extremely nice. The entertainment manager (William) was very good and consistently engaged us to ensure we were having a good experience each day. He also made a special presentation on our final day and provided us with a couple of Marien gifts, which was very kind. Eliana was extremely helpful and provided great service. Even Germy who was away and not working (officially) tended to many of our needs to ensure we had a great time. Arrival: • The initial view of the lobby area was extremely nice. The registration process was very easy and a waiter bringing over a refreshing sparkling drink was a very nice touch. The bellboy service was very good, and I was impressed by how he was able to fit the numerous bags and people in my group on the cart. Room: • The suite was amazing. A “Welcome Back” banner draped the door making us feel very welcomed. The room was at a perfect temperature, and it was great to be welcomed by the cool air. A beautiful fruit plate and cheese and meat plate awaited our arrival and was a very nice touch. The room was immaculately clean and well-maintained. Having two bathrooms and three showers in the suite was very helpful when having visitors stop by. The only negative item for the room was the couch, which seemed to be not in the best shape. The kitchenette area equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and sink was very helpful and allowed us to have coffee on demand. The only negative issue with the kitchenette was not having real liquid milk for the coffee. I did ask at the snack bar but was told they did not have any. Eventually I was able to obtain some from one of the restaurants. Our kids were in a regular room and there were no issues reported by them. Food Service: • Mylos was an awesome experience, great food, great service and really cold (bring a sweater). The atmosphere was nice, the sangria was excellent and the filet was great. • The Rodizio was a little disappointing. The salad bar was sufficient; however the selection of meats was limited to only three meats. • The Mexican restaurant was excellent. The atmosphere was nice, the staff was great, and the food selection was extremely pleasing. The staff went out of their way to get ice cream for the kids from the buffet on the other side of the resort. • The buffet was sufficient but lacked some typical Dominican dishes. Perhaps because we were only there for three days we may not have seen some items. • The snack bar was open 24/7 and it is very nice to have food available 24/7. Entertainment: • The shows were outstanding. The performers were excellent, and the content of the shows was amazing. We only got to see two shows, but hopefully there was something just as good for all the other nights. General Items: • Pool: o Very clean and great water temperature. They could use more umbrellas for shade but if you go early, you can find an available space. • VIP Services: o The VIP service was available for a nightly fee per room. We took advantange of this and obtained the benefits of room service 24/7, access to the VIP Lounge where they had great air conditioning, comfortable seats, a bar with some premium drinks, and some snacks. The wifi was also strong so if you need to jump on a business Zoom call, it’s the perfect spot. o There is a special area at the beach for the VIP with nice beds at individual cabanas, a VIP bar, and nice wooden lounge chairs. • Kids Club: o Our 5 year old and 7 year old grandchildren took advantage of the Kids Club where they did some fun activities and played in the pool. A great opportunity for the adults to have some time alone. Our family had a great time and will return. The staff was excellent, and all went out of their way to provide great service. At no time did any of the staff expect a tip, and some seemed shy to accept it when given.

The hotel was very nice and welcoming. It’s was our first time at this hotel . The animation crew was always entertaining and fun . « Bonbon » and Roberto from the animation crew were the best always smiling , answering our questions make sure we were happy . Thank you so much !

This was by far the worst dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in the rooms where damp and dirtiest and had cockroaches bugs never once did they change the sheets even after we asked them to do so the service was horrible food was average at best most of the restaurants where closed.VIP was a joke don't go there it's horrible. I will never ever go back.

Had a great time at Marien. Everything we expected to see at the photos. Lots of activities around and the staff are absolutely amazing. The staff at marien do their best to satisfy you. We met one staff named “bombom” and he was a great dude. Made sure we were comfortable and got to all our needs around the resort. I would definitely recommend friends and family to visit
