Big and clean pool, well organized entertaintments supervized by Diomedes with professional team and dancers, clean rooms, good food at the main restaurant and a la carte. We really feeled like in the good location to spent our holydays.

We stayed at Marien Puerto Plata hotel this March for a week. Had a wonderful time, food was great, pool was lovely. The entertainment team was a lot of fun and kept the vibes up with all the activities, Bon Bon especially

I absolutely loved staying here. The main lobby is beautiful and a nice place to sit and relax and play cards. The pool area is nice and spacious with a great sized pool....only thing missing is a swim up bar but it ia very close to the pool for refills. The Mexican restaurent is the best although i did enjoy the buffet especially the pasta and pizza stations. So close to the beach and we had a lovely ocean view room. The daily cocktail was fun to try and others if you wanted them. I didnt like the local gin though and we werent vip. I used the spa twice which were both lovely expieriences and worth the money. I did find some of the shop people a but pushy and really had far too high prices so make sure u really haggle and shop around. The staff were all so lovely .... special shoutout to Christian the grounds keeper, Miss Almonte in the Mexican and the gentleman she worked with. We had a gorgeous private beach dinner for my birthday and it was worth the money and had a private waiter. The rooms are a i bit basic and could do with an upgrade but they are comfy and clean and a nice size. We had 2 issues that were sorted out very quickly and we didnt have to chase them. A really great reasonably priced hotel close to Sosua and Puerto Plata.

This is our second year in a row at the Marien resort. It’s a smaller resort, but the pool, beach, staff, food and entertainment make up for it. Special shout outs to Bonbon, Luis, Joan, Aneury and Alberto for making this another trip to remember. Highly recommend coming to this resort, you will not be disappointed.

Highly recommend the Marien resort. The rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. Food is fantastic. Great value for your stay. Most loved staff: Bonbon, Louis, Aneury, Joan.
