Buffet was great. All staff and Ana our hostess, was exemplary.

Quaint little resort by Cabarette but not very near to the town. We walked both ways from the beach for half an hour and not really much around to do there. If u go a wee bit further there are some beachfront shops/restaurants to enjoy. Hotel itself wwas good. Food average, pool area very tidy, good entertainment group. Only one main bar so lineups for drinks. Weather great. Decent for the price.

I organized a group trip for 18 people (6 families), and unfortunately, this resort was a huge disappointment. Two of our families—including mine—had no hot water for most of our stay. I spent the first four days repeatedly reporting the issue, only to be told the water was “hot” when it clearly wasn’t. A maintenance worker eventually confirmed with a thermometer that the water was only 25°C—far below the normal hot water range. I lost hours of my vacation waiting for maintenance, many of whom never returned after telling me to wait. The front desk was extremely dismissive and unhelpful. I asked several times to speak with a manager and was never connected. One staff member in particular was quite rude and showed no concern, even when I mentioned I would be leaving a review. We were only offered a room change on day 5 of our 7-day trip, which was far too late. By day 7, I left early because the experience had become so stressful. There were additional issues:     •    Our fridge didn’t work and took 3 days to replace     •    Restaurant reservations were nearly impossible to get (even the manager couldn’t secure one)     •    The buffet had very limited, not kid-friendly options     •    Only 2 bars open during the day (long waits) and 1 at night     •    Facilities like the theatre were small and underused One concerning moment was when a maintenance worker approached my daughter in the room and made her uncomfortable by insisting she come close to him. She was scared, and despite reporting it, nothing was done. The only positives were the beautiful beach and the friendly security staff, who were consistently kind and welcoming. I do want to recognize Kiran, a manager who eventually stepped in. He was the only one who showed care and tried to improve our experience with thoughtful gestures. Unfortunately, this came too late to make a meaningful difference. As the organizer of this trip, it was embarrassing that our group didn’t receive even basic standards like hot water. Between the poor service, lack of accountability, and overall stress, this was not the vacation we expected. None of us in our group will be returning.

We had a great time, the food was quite good at the buffet. They did offer some dishes that were not familiar to us, but I am sure were appreciated by others. I think it would be disappointing to those if it wasn't offered. Good for the buffet chef for that offering. Our room was on the 3rd floor 3300 block, we had a partial view of the ocean and activity area. 2 double beds, we used one, slept comfortably every night. There were a couple of issues with the AC, that were fixed quickly. Dressers in the room would be a plus! The staff at the bar, Elizabeth, Raffina, Jordi (sp) and the others I did not get their names were amazing. I want send a special thank you to the evening bartender who made the best spanish coffees and espresso martinis. We did not get her name, but tall and beautiful lady. Being beach people we did not participate in the animation teams activities but really enjoyed watching the games and activities we did see. Koodos to the entire animation team, we witnessed kids and adults enjoying all the activities and shows. The beach was amazing, windy at times, but we knew that coming to this area, because we did some research. Walking either way, right or left spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed the water. It is strange hearing people complaining about rough water??? Did you not look at where you were going?? The vendors on the beach were not that bad, be respectful to them and and they will be respectful to you. I did not get my hair done, buy cigars, wooden sculptures, hats ect. I bought 4 bracelets one day, one time. But did say hello and acknowledged them everyday that I saw them and vise versa..it is their job. We enjoyed our time at the resort and would definitely consider returning

I went with my 5 month old son and a friend. We really liked the « hidden » pool by the italian restaurant because it was quiet enough for my baby to nap while we read. Our room was kept tidy everyday and the cleaning staff was nice. The bassinet was good enough, although the mattress was really thin so I added a blanket underneath but bringing another mattress (standard measure) would have been best. The waiter who yells « café! » made me smile every morning. The food was good but most of all Mauvie was great! She helped me get safe meals (I have a milk allergy) and helped us for many things during our trip (find a lost toy, get hot water, etc). Don’t hesitate to talk to her at the buffet entrance!
